Does anyone know if its possible for the thread title to be changed by the author? There is not too much wrong with it although i am not a great fan of Cryptopia i was wondering if we could either change Cryptopia with KuCoin on there or add KuCoin to the existing title already. I think in time if not already that exchange will see much higher volume and it is better to attract people to buy into DeepOnion by advertising our existence on KuCoin instead of Cryptopia. I mean if after airdrops we are on Binance and Bittrex those exchanges have much more selling power than Cryptopia!

I'm wasn't be here for a couple of days and I see that all the prices are still low, including Onion.

I hope that the Onion will rise again.

Yesterday was half price! Sure it will grow and come back to ATH value of Jan.....but I still hope it remains low and give me time to buy other $Onions :-)

I think you have a point there my friend. Even though Kucoin is relatively new compared to Cryptopia, it is I think more reputable than Cryptopia. I think Kucoin is doing a great job as an Exchange. Plus, most of the coins there are really top notch. You can't see a coin that is bad there, maybe, Confido? But the rest, all top promising coins to be honest. And yes, it can be edited too!

in realist terms can DeepOnion ever reach a price per onion of more than 500 usd  or is that an impossible number to achieve .

To answer that question we need to look into the market cap of DeepOnion and compare it to some of its peers.  Today DeepOnion's market cap is $47M with a price per coin of $4.80.  For simplicity we'll round $50M market cap and $5 per coin.

For DeepOnion to reach $500 a coin it'd need to have a $5B market cap.  Is that realistic?  With today's sell-off prices that'd put DeepOnion into the top-10 of market cap coins.  I believe this is possible but it's even more possible if we forecast the market health.  Let's assume that after this sell-off we have another bull run like we did before, and the entire market cap goes back to its peak in December.  At its peak DeepOnion's market cap was $90M so after that we'd need roughly a 50x growth to get to $500 a coin.  I don't know if that will happen this year, but with the new TOR wallet integration that allows even Chinese citizens to leverage the benefits of privacy then I think it is.

When $ONION reaches 10 $ it will be in top 100 in CoinmarketCap

onion had reached almost 20 usd last month.  it's not hard to duplicate that feat or even surpass that if the market turns bullish.  all we need to do is support this project and share this knowledge with more friends.

Top 100 is an easy feat for this great project, and when the airdrops are over even more coins will be in circulation and the market cap will increase even further. Anyone with spare btc should be quick, price is already rising

Exactly my point, it is much more sought after to be on there than on Cryptopia which is generally quite slow and has some pretty dodgy looking coins on it to say the least. Plus it is targetted quite often for P&D schemes. KuCoin also has KCS which if you buy into you can receive a small daily amount of extra Onions! For new entrants into the crypto market i would strongly recommend they go there instead of cryptopia and that is who we should be attracting with this thread i think. The layout is much simpler and cleaner on there more user friendly to the newer trader. Worth thinking about changing or at least adding KuCoin to the thread title i reckon.

I strongly believe that the price of 50$ is very likely to be achieved soon. That would be a relly great price and anything above that would be a really great bonus.

I highly doubt prices will get much lower than they are now.  We just had a major crypto correction that probably cut a bit too deep, as all corrections tend to do, so things are on sale right now.  Of course, its possible that this is just an outlier day where its up but I think we are at the bottom personally.

No you're probably right but even if the price doubles from now then it is still relatively cheap in comparison to the ATH and the potential that it can reach so even then it would be a good chance to get involved into the airdrop by getting 50 Onions! Once market confidence returns then we should blast through a couple dollars and be back at 10 before you know it i think!

Regardless, the DeepOnion is undervalued asset. Just look at the other privacy focused products out there and the values they are given by the market.. Kind of unreal in some cases since a majority haven't really been adopted apart from Monero. Even then, DO can do more than Monero and when the other pieces to the tech are released, the value should exponentially increase.

I agree, during all this market bloodbath DeepOnion's price has been rarely below 50K satoshi - just one short lived visit in the 40K area, and now it is shooting up again. I think 50K satoshi could be seen as a floor now.
