Yes, the last version (2.0.4.1 I believe it was) fixed most issues people had with the previous versions, thanks to the developers identifying and working to fix everything. I didn't download it as a new user but I made the update and everything looks fine from my end too.

In the vast majority of cases when people have trouble installing the Wallet it is because they missed/forgot a step (been there, done that). The few remaining issues are always taken care of immediately by the Dev team. My rule of thumb is, if many others are getting installed and running and mine is not, then the problem is likely me
