Hi guys, I searched here a lot here but, unfortunately, I didn't find a particular answer to my question.

So recently I found my 4 years old btc wallet. I opened it in btc core - my balance is 0 btc but I show about 10 btc in 5 unconfirmed transactions (receiving). That got my attention.

All transactions are dated back to 2014 and their status is "0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool". I tried to find something on bitcoin block explorer but I:
Couldn't find any of the transactions ID.
Detail of sender address shows 0 in total amount of his transactions (all 5 trans. were send from 1KLm3Br6AbxGT2qNReAzrosj8wzLY2xZrU).
And most importantly I couldn't find MY OWN btc address. Btc core show me a surprisingly short address (3QJmnh) - could that be the actual problem?

After btc fall in early 2014 I quickly lost my interest in btc so I have no idea if there is the possibility of recovering unconfirmed btc, especially from the side of payment receiver. If it helps I attach details of one of the payments. Thank you so much for the answers.

OP, the address 1KLm3Br6AbxGT2qNReAzrosj8wzLY2xZrU has never sent any bitcoins at all -- in fact, it has NEVER had a BTC balance.
You can confirm this from any block explorer.

Also, the transaction ID aa7152d350e5240ecc066e185d8f70e9563862cb1b5fd6838e9a86c07f7d2042 doesn't exist on the blockchain also.

Unconfirmed transactions are removed from the mempool of nodes after a while and the bitcoins "return" back to the sending wallet. (Technically since they never confirmed then they weren't sent at all)

So your bitcoins from 2014 didn't confirm and were returned to the origin address, so it is like you never received any bitcoin at all.

Generally, these sorts of "0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool" transactions end up being the result of loading an "altcoin" wallet into Bitcoin Core... and this transaction appears to be a Litecoin transaction:

https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/tx/aa7152d350e5240ecc066e185d8f70e9563862cb1b5fd6838e9a86c07f7d2042/

Dates and amounts seem to match up... so I suggest you load up Litecoin Core, and import the wallet.dat into that instead. Unfortunately, it would appear that the 3.3LTC was subsequently spent in another transaction:

But at least you should be able to scan the correct blockchain for any remaining coins.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RESPONSE!!!

After loading ltc core I found about 2,5 LTC on that wallet. Actually, I completely forgot I also had LTC wallet in that time.
I assume that the rest of the balance (13.8ltc) I exchanged for btc and lost with btc-e closure, what a shame...but still. Without you I'd never even think about ltc possibility. So once again, thank you so so much!

Maybe it's about time Litecoin Core changed their default wallet file name to something other than wallet.dat...
