Update. Now leave them the fuck alone and let them do their thing.

Yes, taking customers money hostage is fraud. will keep contacting what ever authority necessary until give a clear announcement
what is going on. "almost finished" does not means 5 days. "few" means almost zero.

Agreed. Though we have been very patient, even if by force, it is unacceptable for them to communicate in this manner in this day and age. So the people calling and making sure they are on their shit should be thanked as it is well deserved, just in case.

I agree completely. They have all of e-mail addresses already. Seems like I would send out a couple of emails a week to keep everyone updated. Some people have a lot of money on their site and they'r not helping the stress much at all by not communicating.

I hate to say this but exchanges should have some for of regulation so when they decide to dick you, they dick themselves at the same time and can't spend ot transfer other coins into their private wallets.

Take care of your nerves!
Stick to the facts!
What do we have? Coins on purses are lying (this can be checked through the explorer)  and messages from the official site "Wait, we change the servers."

You do not understand why they stopped the withdraw?
I will explain - that we do not go to other exchangers. These are business risks.

Do you not understand why they do not support feedback?
And would you want to communicate with a rabid crowd of people who are upset by frozen accounts? Such communication can only worsen the situation.

Exactly, dont fud people. Remember that this is a low fees low volume exchange, we cant expect them to handle a crisis the same way as the bigger exchanges do. In fact they also fuck up most of the time.

 New info.

from twitter I wonder if #CoinsMarkets realizes they're self-DDoS'ing? investigate the issue
using chrome dev tools and this is the result:

 http://i68.tinypic.com/281zksn.png

 9345 requests downloads 29.5MB in 31.70 seconds

then waited a bit and things become more interesting

 http://i64.tinypic.com/sl6ult.jpg

 22448 requests downloads 29.9MB in 33.25 seconds

This means when visiting coinsmarkets the visitor become the ddos attacker without knowing it with the code provided by
coinsmarkets.

Coinsmarkets is DDOS-ing itself. The message that was on coinsmarkets main page DDOS attack is a lie and the conclusion is almost finished, a few DB issues is a lie too. Coinsmarkets are worse than tele-markerting.

you have chrome, visit coinmarkets, open the dev tool and refresh the website and see by yourself.

Ok, coinsmarkets needs to provide a good intentions step by allowing withdraw. Then we will talk about not reporting them.

But why no comunication from them, an apology in emails? I mean, this is not just some wallet maintanence, its a huge server upgrade.... This is what happens, when kids are running things.

And, btw, if we do get scammed without an apology, i will sincerely murder them. Honest to God.

So, can give my own experience. Right now on my balance showing 10.01 LTC , it’s coins I received for the ECA  304000 coins. So in explorer my LTC wallet shows zero 0$, and no transactions at all, and my ECA 304000 coins were send to two different address, so in explorer looks like I just sent all my eca ( 54k and 250k) to 2 different wallets. Don’t know what kind of problem they have , but in explorer basically my money just disappear, only see my balance on the site, but it’s could be like everyone saying just old DB info. I got the screenshots , but I’m sure it’ll take a while to get everything correctly recovered. Hope they can resolve these kind of problems , if not...we’ll it was bad experience ( the most interesting I’m never keep my coins on exchange, and transferred ECA just to sold it and take out LTC, but just stuck , was able to make trade but no withdrawal ))))  it was on 01/03/2018

I was able to sign in and I checked the Wallet Status  and this is the running list, Now  I do not know how long it will take to sync all of the wallets back to their prospective blockchains. but this surely does look better than  last weekend.

Quote
Wallet Status:
* Real Time wallet scan , checking page can take up to 5 min to load .

* You can use direct coin checking in the format : https://coinsmarkets.com/walletstatus.php?ticker=BTC (replace BTC with ticker you need : ltc, doge ... etc) .

The site is still down. I saw it coming with coinsmarkets. Now I'm wondering what will happen with coins that you were getting dirt cheap? I'm already seeing that with gfx: scam coin, they exited dumped to 0.1 sats and now that coinsmarkets is down, the coin is back up at 2sats in stocks.exchange. Be careful with this coin guys.

For the love of GOD, please stop telling people who have their money locked to "not panic"  Are, you seriously that stupid, or just don't give a bloody rats a$$?

So, let's play the game of "hey guys, the exchange is down but don't worry, just because we locked your wallet, doesnt mean anything at all.  All it means is that we will not let you get YOUR money, or YOUR coins because what we are doing is in your best interest and the zero communication about what is going on mean you should trust us more right" game.

Let's just say you go to a resturant, you give the vallet the key to your car, go inside, eat, come back and the vallet only shows a display monitor or messages about your keys.  And they do this for hours upon hours.  What would you say (be hones, dont be a d*ck).  Well, that's what the investors are saying.

Its time to stop this "let wait and see" retarded game and give us the freaking ability to withdraw our coins.  Period.

Yes, taking customers money hostage is fraud. will keep contacting what ever authority necessary until give a clear announcement

Please provide a list of the authorities or hosting servies or whoever you are contacting.  This monkey a$$ BS has to stop now.

S### can happen, things can go wrong, servers can explode....

BUT running an exchange means that you have to communicate with your users if something goes wrong.

Those red announcements in their Chatango did not make things better, they made it even worse. (Ok, last time I checked it was reduced)

Some twitter, some Facebook, some whatthehellelse would have made it better for their relaunch.

But really, almost 2 weeks now?!?! Servers are there, and now looking for a new hosting? And once they got the new hosting, they need to re-setup they new servers? I will be happy, if I ever get my money back from them - but I don’t hope for it anymore.
