Hello there,
the aim of this thread is to be a source for every movie/shortfilm/documentary on BTCitcoin that is either already finished or still in production / funding stage.
(movies with similar topics are cordially welcomed as long as they don't wander to hard on the conspiracy side)
Because of my educational background working in the film sector for some time and my private passion for healthy brainfood I felt like supporting it a bit in this forum.

It's important to support creative people who try to spread info via any form of media and moving pictures are the greatest opportunity for this.

A bit old but it's still a very interesting documentary on this subject.
It shows some ugly aspects of the global financial system and the consequences for third world countries.
Released in 2008 it historically hit the bull's eye at that point in time.

so this one is running a bit off-topic,
it's more a mixture of video art, music and interviews about consumption, media and current form of politics & economy.
i know this style won't appeal to everybody, but from the perspective of seeing a movie as an artform this concept is geniously realized by Erik Gandini and evolves a lot of power.
At least give it a try please, you won't regret it!

i haven't seen all of them yet, so I hope the presented information is mostly accurate. (feedback will be added after watching)
There are a lot of movies in this genre diving deep into the conspiracy pool and tend to drift off after a while.

These two episodes are very good for a basic understanding of currencies and their historical development.
My biggest point of criticism is the lack of information on the manipulation of gold and silver markets today.
But that's probably because the background concept of Moderator Maloney and his vids is meant to advertise investments in this sector.

This documentary is a disturbing but also fascinating portrait of physical work in the 21st century.
Director Michael Glawogger has the unique style of just presenting scenes and interviews without any further comment.
It's up to the viewer to form his opinion and expand his view of the world.

The only annotation to this movie is a famous citate from William Faulkner:
„You can't eat eight hours a day nor drink for eight hours a day nor make love for eight hours --all you can do for eight hours is work. Which is the reason why man makes himself and everybody else so miserable and unhappy."
