It was a well done document just to bad it outdated itself by taking forever to produce and distributed!

I think they managed that quite well. One can tell some stuff was produced at a later date. Overall there's a lot of explanatory parts that are 'timeless', so to speak.

"Life on Bitcoin" is unfortunately taking its time (way too long imo  ), so this one looks like it could give a nice overview how btc adoption is currently doing in the US.

I wonder if any new documentaries will come out about BTC that document the downturn in prices that we have seen over the last year?   Most of the pieces that I have seen only show the meteoric rise that we say over a year ago.   I am bullish long term, but I do like to see both sides...

I'm sure all projects which started during 2014 will cover that downturn to some extent, if they want to be taken seriously. Nothing's worse than one-sided advertising flicks...but people should have realized by now that btc's financial value is highly speculative.
the whole process of film-making is simply way too slow to still be up to date on release when covering such a fast evolving technology.
After post-production the marketing part to get bigger publicity (advertising, festivals, publishers, DVDs etc.) can easily take 6-12 months for a feature-length movie until the premiere.
