Thank you so much to say! Really proud of that. The original draft took more than 3 months to complete. However we have been constantly updating and changing our plans in line with the community's view and feedback - hence why the whitepaper is listed on Google Docs.

Yes, we are in constant communication with photographers and have many signed up to take part in our alpha phase. From the point of view of our main business model, our target is photographers. However, photography is something everyone can do - as we are aiming to be a mass market business model. So even those who aren't professional photographers but are crypto enthusiasts can get involved.

Photochain reached softcap and this is enough to continue the project. Developers are still in negotiations with larger funds/capital, so it will be more. Remember, Photochain is not unrealistic speculative project, but a real world business application of the blockchain. Those, who don't bought now, will have to buy later without discount;)

This is one of those beatifically elegant projects (like Air Bnb) where you think to yourself, why has no one disrupted this business before? Disrupting those giant stock photography businesses is almost THE perfect application for a DApp 

I think I'll be investing some of my recent ETH gains into this one!

Great Cynos, thank you for kind words! Indeed, the Photochain Use Case is simple and straight to understand. We will work hard to make the first version from our demo DApp. But this is still a way to go. And we definitely needs support of the community.

ya. Photochain will allow each contributor to have full control over their licensing and digital image trading. giving the appreciation of artwork is sometimes difficult, it will not happen if the system from Photochain is applied, everything will benefit.

Seems like there is a lot of competition from traditional stock photography sites, but I don't see how they can compete when it comes to prices which makes me think it's only a matter of time til they're rendered irrelevant.
