What's the deal with Icedrill shares tanking, or are the pre-ipo investors still cashing out?
I think that's mostly because right now there's very little buying pressure until either a) the batch 2 wall @ 0,0016 gets eaten up and b) icedrill actually just hashing. Isn't that supose to be 3?

That would imply that the IPO price is close to overvalued. That would also imply that all the mining equipment sold on the market is close to overvalued, since the IPO price was modeled after the cost for mining equipment - however, last time I checked, spot price for mining equipment is rather close to fair valued. It's more likely that some of the IPO speculators are budging out.

Less BTC to go around on BF too. Look at ActM on BF vs BTCT (~.0016 vs ~.0028). Less BTC means lower bid volume which invariably leads to a slowly dwindling share price (particularly in BTC markets where people seem to need earth shattering news every other day just to stay interested).
BTC will move back in when it starts to get interesting.

Volume is almost nil. A dip on no volume isn't a big deal, and actually healthy for the long-term as weak hands are displaced by strong ones. The price isn't "tanking." For an example of actual tanking, look at ACTM since I warned the heedless fools (sumzero, stuartuk, volcanicerupter, bargraphics) to get out while they still could. ^Now that's what I call tanking!^

Not when the security is a mining company which, if successful, will be printing the very same currency

Its been decided that 0.0016 BTC will be first paid out to public investors. What happens if the dividend per share doesn't reach 0.0016 BTC at all? Current calculations with 30% increase seems that the number will be hit. But a couple of months delays and its a completely different picture...

If it dividends never hit .0016 then public investors lose some money and private lose all their money. The share price will also crash at some point.
IceDrill would have to fail hard for this to happen.
Would be good to hear if they are still on schedule or if this will be another Labcoin...

We're still on schedule. What happened with Labcoin in the end?

We're still on schedule. What happened with Labcoin in the end? We will see until Wednesday (they must prove their chips are hashing)...

What happened with Labcoin in the end?
Who the f knows? Serious communication (and therefore confidence) issues affecting the price, all of which could easily have been avoided. The next update from Labcoin is due "before Wednesday" (does that mean today or Tuesday or could it be Wednesday?), which will supposedly be the bitcoin address for Labcoin's mining proceeds. Of course people will dispute it, so I doubt we'll see anything more than a very temporary short term boost. Then probably radio silence until the end of October (although hopefully Labcoin's hashrate - and mining proceeds - will increase exponentially during that time). Or Labcoin could be a lie. In short, Labcoin remains a gamble.

Hello Everyone,
I have acquired a decent amount of IceDrill shares during the launch. Unfortunately something urgent came up in my personal life and I am currently looking to sell them in blocks of 100,000 at a fair price without disrupting the market. Anyone interested, please PM me with offers.

Sooo let me sum up:
- Someone wants to sell 1% of the thing already and there is not enough buy orders for him to dump - It's already trading below the IPO price - There is already talk on investors not making their investment back??
Somehow the operator has a +62 trust rating?? It's the first time I see a trust rating that high!!

What does that has to do anything with trust rating ?

What does that has to do anything with trust rating ? I'm surprised someone trusted could have such bad performing asset. Unless he was actually aware it wouldn't be well performing beforehand?

How is this a "bad performing asset"? If you actually read the prospectus, you would have seen that they aren't expected to start mining until November. Nothing has changed since then, and there's no reason to expect a ton of news at the moment.
