Actually 500 BTC is a reasonable price for a 500 GH/s minirig!

Just a month ago people were selling 80 GH/s Avalons for 200+ BTC.

That was a similar markup.

Now, you can get an Avalon for about 80-90 BTC (see the numerous threads here).

An Avalon will do 82 GH/s (I know, I have one).

That is about 1 BTC per GH/s. That puts it in line with this 500GH/s for 500 BTC machine. Also don't forget that BFL ASICs are twice as power efficient as Avalons!

all I can do is shake my head...   1 BTC per GH/s is crazy.   Good luck to anyone willing to pay that.    I'm worried about my .15 BTC per GH/s turning a profit.

Please tell me more about your .15 btc per GHs investment.... or should i say baloney

This. Nowhere can you buy mining hardware TODAY for 0.15 btc per GHs

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Not that retarded actually. You could wait months to get a BFL miner, earn it back in a few. But if I sell a BFL miner, I had to wait for shipping and earn it back. You can earn hundereds of BTC with it. 500 BTC for a 500GH/s rig is cheap.

You can buy at that rate but we will see if they deliver next month.  I have 1.2 TH/s on order for day 1 shipping with KNC.  (at the current price of BTC is is .17 BTC per GH)  This obviously changes as BTC goes up and down.

see http://minr.info/ for more info.

I had already ordered and plan to sell 6 Jalapeno Miners each for 1000 dollars. - Next Day Air Shipping anywhere in the US FREE OF CHARGE.

You think people won't buy it? I know for sure they will, Butterfly Labs is a money pit and I don't wish it on ANYONE to buy from them for the simple fact that they don't have thier shit together and they can't fulfill orders in a timely matter. Waiting a year for something that cost you so much out the pocket is already unacceptable and this man has every right to charge more for his Mini RIG, face it... the extra money you pay is better than waiting for the unit to go out of style.

I paid for my miners already. Yet I still never got them. BFL wanted a huge NO INTEREST Loan and they got one, from how? From US!

Again, I would not wish this wait on anyone ever!... You may as well have sent your money to prison for life when you buy from them. The only thing miners are good for now is reselling them for a profit because there will always be some guy out there with a ton of money that only wants MORE money. Trust me, someone will buy his miner or buy another one someplace else.

He can sell it for whatever he wants. Whether anyone buys it is up to the person willing to spend the coins.
