When do you think alt coin market will crash?

Some people think it won't crash, other has been saying "tomorrow" for the past years.

But looking at the gains the last few months its hard to see this continuing for years to come. Can there be a long (3-6 months) bear market now to correct or is crypto too hot and will increase crazy up til implosion?

I'm thinking maybe 6-12 months of crypto craze left. Then crash (90% of coins loose 90% of value) and a few years of bear market before successful crypto projects starts making money. Pretty much .com again.

I would not use the word "crash", but "correct". I guess this could happen any moment if Bitcoin's price will start another sharp upleg as many are expecting to happen soon.

Every bubble can explode, but crypto for me is not a bubble so it will never pop and crash. Yeah sure some cryptocurrency will lose value, it because people lost interest in it. Even if bitcoin have a masive dump it will grow again.

Wait for the BTC dominance to be higher im sure all the alts will bleed hard,if the BTC goes wild again all the money from alts will be transfered to BTC.

I think the risk is getting bigger these days, because altcoin has been going up a lot lately.

I think that it won't crash alone, it will shake with BTC and risks are equal both at BTC and alt-markets.

I don't think it will crash soon. In fact, I'm pretty sure that altcoins will make a total domination in 2018.

Yes, some will fail, other will vanish, but the whole aaltcoin market will only grow.

At the moments Cryptos are to much hyped. Bitcoin is to expensiv, so everbody is buying altcoins. So i dont think that the altcoins will crash in the next year. Some altcoins even resist the bullrun of bitcoin, so altcoins are soon independently.

Altcoins can crash whenever there is a situation or if there is a person that wants the prices to tank.
It could crash next year.

It's hard to say, and although I think crypto might get into a bear market eventually I don't think a 90% crash will occur. I won't deny there is a lot of hype around crypto, and I'm sure some coins will probably disappear. In fact probably most of them, because there are a lot of coins out there, that have no intrinsic value. That is not the case for bitcoin or ethereum, or some good tokens out there, because they do try to solve some problems in our world, so they will probably succeed.

They clearly have to evolve a lot, I mean ether is still not capable of running good dapps in it's platform, and bitcoin still cant scale. But the truth is that, both of these coins have some updates coming, and their devs are good, so their products have a future.

That's why I think there is a future for some crypto coins out there, and some that will come, but the majority in the market right now will vanish, and when they do, they will probably have a negative impact on crypto markets, but the true value of the big names in the crypto world will be able to "suck it up" and continue to play their role in our world.

A crash in the altcoin market sounds too extreme, especially a crash like the one you mentioned: "90% of coins loose 90% of value", that's not going to happen, but I think a big correction (or massive dump) is probably what we're going to see in the upcoming months (or years).

As of now, I think the crypto market is overvalued (almost $800 billion), and when you look back and see that a month ago the global market capitalization was around $400 billion, then you know that something bad is going to happen. All the new money flowing into the altcoin market is coming from FOMO money, influx of greedy cryptocurrency newcomers with zero knowledge about cryptos, investors throwing cash at low value altcoins...there's no belief on the project or the tech behind X altcoin, it's all about profits. The sudden and rapidly increase in the global market cap in just one month can only indicate that a correction is going to affect the market sooner or later, there's no denying in that.

I don't know when the correction is going to happen, but what I do know that it will help to get rid of all the shitcoins and vaporware projects.

Last time I also think about it a lot. The constant growth of altcoins looks good for profits, but frightens in the future. It may very well be that one morning everything will turn in the opposite direction. But I will not be able to raise my hand now to sell promising coins, which in a year will bring a lot of profit. I do not know what to do in this situation.

At the next big growth of the BTC, when people will change their alt to BTC, to get an higher value of their BTC then when the BTC value will stabilize, they will go back to alt.
At the next announce of a BTC fork (less possible), when people will change their alt to get more BTC fork.

When a lot of recent new comers will leave cryptocurrency because their don't understand it / don't understand the market behind that ... But I'm not so sure about this point, because, still a lot of people don't know about bitcoin & altcoin, so the departure of some will be hide by the arrival of new people for at least the next 2/3 years in my mind.

Yeah you say right. It's not to easy. It will know increase the prices most of the people invest in the coin. So altcoin now increas the prices. It will know use most of the people and learn more information for the invest and future growth. Altcoin is good to for the future it will give more opportunity for improve your self.

I think that this market will quickly enter the legal field. It is not controlled for a long time. This can not please the governments of countries. There will not be a collapse, but there will be a regulation.

It will never crash, some coins will simply die, and others will fall to their actual price, what I mean by that is to the price they are really worth. You can't really compare this to .com its totally different in my opinion.

I don't think there will be a crash, it will be more a correction. This happened to almost every market, if you look at history. For a crash it really needs something ground breaking happened.
