The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I would be truly grateful if you could allow me to build reputation of being a trusted lendee in the bitcoin community.

I would especially like to be able to give you a profit from this investment to loan .50 btc.

Please let me know if a 12% rate .  2 weeks to pay you back  works for you.

Kindest regards,

Charlene

I would take a .5 loan to get a block erupter. Unfortunately, They are back ordered till 8/14/13 on the guild. Not Counting the number of orders in front of me. Would definitely repay though. Could always PM me if you would like.

Be careful tincan. You more than likely will not see your bitcoins again once you send them.

Lurking since 2011...

Pretty sure BTC guild is selling usb miners for .6 btc, but they're backordered as mentioned above. It's not .5 btc, but it's sure close.

This won't end well, lending any type of money to someone who you don't know is very risky. You are better of just saving the 0.5 and waiting till you want to buy something. Or even sell it for cash.

Seriously guys, I'd advise you move on. No legitimate business to be found here. Lots of ways to make bitcoins without resorting to this kind of scheme.

Well, to be fair, OP cannot possibly scam the people interested. He's sending the money.

However, people interested should be more concerned as to why OP is doing this. He more than likely wants to build rep in order to do a scam sometime in the future.

Don't give loans to new members I guess you already know that. If you really want to give out a loan, then give it some member with atleast 150 activity. That way the chances of you getting scammed are minimised because who would throw away an account like that for some 0.5 BTC  Huh

Best of luck

Activity and post count are meaningless.

Rep is a better indicator, but you should look at the size of transactions. Some people will do tiny loans or exchanges to build up rep so they can scam a larger amount.

You should always ask for collateral or go through an escrow if it's an amount you're not willing to lose.
