I'm still in my first couple of weeks with this and having tried the search to no avail....

I regularly go to my workers that run in guiminer and find them seemingly hung and showing as "connecting". They can be in this state for hours but just stopping then restarting fixes the issue. I tried but can't get phoenix rising to run which I thought would help so....

Can anyone throw some light on this? Just knowing what to look for/adjust or whether it is the miner or internet or whatever would help.

Thanks all

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

started on btcguild, went to bitcoins.lc and all went well till the pool GHash went higher.

.... and minecoin. one rig threw 2 of these in 24h while the others went fine on minecoin but yesterday I put 2 cards on bitp.it and around 24h now with no issues ...meanwhile the other card of 2 on minecoin dropped out for a while.

You see? there is no pattern that I can discern

Running guiminer and phatk by the way

The only really thing I can say went wrong without looking more at your rig is that the pool went down. Happens pretty frequently on newer pools.

I had a driver issue with my network interface on a Gigabyte 990F XA-UD7 motherboard. I used the drivers CD to install the driver (Win7 x64) and then Windows Update found a new driver.
The issue was about the same as you describe. I did a driver roll-back and no problems since. Perhaps worth a try?
