I'm wondering if anyone can point me to the following things:

A coin that labels blocks as "version 2" besides primecoin.

A coin that labels blocks "version 3"

I find "version 4" in hobo nickels and so far I assume that most of POS many have this but haven't checked many coins yet.

Any other transaction versions besides version 1 (bitcoin/almost everything) and version 2 (FLO style transaction comments).

If you have information about any of these items or version types not listed here for blocks or TX please let me know thanks.

Bitcoin starting after the patch for them, and it now requires them ( http://bitcoin.21stcenturymoneytalk.org/index.php?block_hash=00000000000000312c6b9136f96b7ba1da20e3330005b1341bacdbc047f6037f )

MemoryCoin  ( http://memorycoin.21stcenturymoneytalk.org/index.php?block_hash=01e4b88daa282565f19abd49964dd4abf79fda2d0c2ed3cca156ad7243b6e802 )

Bascically any coin that forked off a more modern codebase then the ltc 0.6 most coins used so far.

You have devcoin which somehow has version 262401 blocks now.   http://devcoin.21stcenturymoneytalk.org/index.php?block_hash=2fc138a40df3ae23b620e8a6338b6f1398feb597b451e7d6962c4446b4e4acf4

Thanks twobits.  I'll have a look at bitcoin later and see what/if they changed, moving from v1 to v2, just out of curiosity.

What I'm currently working on will be inclusive of all fields I've identified so luckily compliance to a template or format won't be critical - no one seems to care much about this internal versioning.

That's funny about devcoin though, I wonder what's up with that.

If I remember right, it added the block height into the data to avoid collisions.  Was an earlier change to use nTime instead of nBits as well, but the version was not bumped for that.
