You have to vote to see the results.  Smiley

This is useful info for us, for manufacturers, and for Group Buy Coordinators & GB Share Buyers. I think demand has slowed for new ASIC hardware pre-orders from what I can currently see from the GB forum.

FWIW, here was last month's related poll: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=272565.0

Let me know if you'd like to see a mfg. added. I only listed the majors mfgs. with pre-orders pending (AM isn't taking regular pre-orders, which is why they're not listed).

Great idea, thanks DZ. I couldn't vote for more than one option though, which was a shame (limitations of the forum I guess?)

Fixed. Thanks guys!

Also added a multiple pre-order option besides KnC. Had them in there originally but forgot to replace the 2nd Cointerra. Sorry about that.

For those interested, Historical data for relevant Network Difficulty chart: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmcTCtjBoRWUdHVRMHpqWUJValI1RlZiaEtCT1RrQmc#gid=0

Whoever is collecting and organizing this data: You're doing a great job whoever you are!

That Difficulty vs. Price column's great at identifying how mining difficulty compares to the price of BTC.

Are you asking about placing new preorders in September, or do you also count if I'm still waiting on preorders placed months ago?

That difficulty vs price ratio makes no sense to me, even if it were exponential it still makes no sense

Also the %daily increase is poorly done, the author is taking %increase per difficulty / number of days, when if should be an inverse root.

We're just talking about September pre-orders for this poll; trying to capture how strong demand is from core buyers for pre-orders this month.

Looks like the biggest vote getter is people just watching and not committing to any new pre-orders at the moment. Bitfury pre-orders are currently the 2nd most popular option aside from not ordering.

Still looking like the biggest group of voters are people waiting on the sidelines or just doing Buy & Hold.

Hmm, that's funny. Only 4 buyers/potential buyers voted for HashFast this month.

Yet, I just sold out a HashFast Group Buy in 3 days thanks to a darkhorse option of an at-cost HashFast order 616 via a new online friend outside the US. Smiley

Thanks buddy! And thanks to the gentlemen in my miner's co-operative for making Round 2 of my Group Buy adventures a quick success.

Uh...no comment on the news of the entire board resigning.

This buyer and seller advocate only helps those who I think are worth working with. IMHO: the jury is still out on VMC.

I'll reconsider their inclusion in next month's poll since this one's almost done.
