I think myetherwallet can not be hacked, but he can get a scam site that will steal a private key or keystone that we have, many similar cases have happened, so please be more careful

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Everything can be. Just don't lose your private key, always keep your private key in a safe place, so that nobody can get hold of it.

Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?
MEW can not guarantee someone not to get phishing and back up user data if actively exposed, this wallet is not centralized so the security ratio is not greater than the attack rate encountered. Hardwallet is an erc-20 alternative which is quite good and coinbase is also seen starting to provide a place for erc-20.

Of course I think that it can be hacked, but I keep my tokens on this purse. I consider him the safest purse. Just need to adhere to security rules and then there will be less likelihood that it will be hacked.

MEW server can be hacked. Though MEW specifically says that it does not hold any keys , so directly tthere will be no harm. However, if the servers are hacked then this could lead to phishing attack. User has to attentive to this...bookmark your MEW website address.

The myetherwallet site is just an interface for creating and managing your wallet. You can even use the local version of myetherwallet on your computer. An attacker can get access to your wallet, if only you yourself somehow compromise your key.

So you don't have to worry. Best take care of your data access. Due to its structure, even in case of hackers attack, nobody con access your private key.

Everything can be hacked, particularly if you have a man on the inside that makes the job a lot easier. However, hacking myetherwallet does not help you as your wallet information is not transferred to the server, so there would actually be no loss of data. You might recall recently there was a DNS redirection that screwed a lot of user, but this technically wasn't MEW getting hacked, but instead the DNS provider. But then again, you are only as strong as your weakest link.

As long as you don't lose your private keys, you should not worry to get hacked. Most wallets are very safe, just keep up to date with different news, and always safe your private keys on a different device other than the one you use your wallet.

Everything depends on your privacy. Those who don't use Metamask , basically get phished. In most cases hackers change DNS and people who aren't aware about it, they lost money. As for me, I am trying to prevent it and I have never gotten hacked

Myetherwallet can be hacked by the crypto theft masters around but I will recommend using an hardware wallet like trezor where you private key doesn't leave your wallet. Hardware wallet is the best way to stay away from hack.

In my own personal opinion, even your computer got broke you can still open your wallet using other devices. Your funds will be safe and you will never be hacked, but just be sure that you still have your private key safe. You should not give your private key to untrusted people for you not to get hacked.

If your computer is compromised, I think it can be invaded.
So you need to keep your computer safe, and my personal recommendation is to buy a hardware wallet.

Hackers can steal your key if you keep it in a non-secure place. you can also go to the phishing site and lose everything. this is the problem of all wallets. I do not understand why they will not double-authenticate

Of course it will be invaded. In fact, Myetherwallet was hacked, and the price of the Ethereum started to go crazy, and I lost a lot of money. But if you keep your private key safe. The risk of theft is small.

You have nothing to worry about. Myetherwallet is safe , Unless you give a personal key to someone and enter a phishing website.

I think it might really be difficult for hackers to hack your Myetherwallet!  Myetherwallet is not holding your fund ,it is simply giving you access to  ethereum blockchain and providing seamless service for you to interact with ethereum platform.  Hackers would have to guess your private key correctly before they can have access to your fund!

As shown you can hack anything. If you have a large amount in cryptocurrency, I advise you to use Tresor. At least the chances of stealing the money will be reduced.
