What I understood from the disclaimer of pre-Sale, it mentions that this is subject to US regulations and securities commissions and that's all. If still anyone wants to contribute will be treated under this clause. You can change country from the list if you are from from somewhere else. By the way the list of projects being built on this protocol is amazing.

The theme of the conference was “Never Forget Why You Started” and it was a refreshing callback to the motivation for why Ethereum was created. So often, conferences can be solely about making deals or marketing. We had high expectations for for EDCON, and they were surpassed in almost every way. We are more excited than ever to be apart of the Ethereum developer community and Dapp ecosystem. There were many fun moments as well and the Origin team had a blast.

I have Origin Protocol on my watch list to try to catch its presale whenever that will be announced. It is not final yet this is mentioned on website but no problem everyone can wait for awesome project to come up with full preparation. It is going to be remarkable project of the year in my opinion.
