Why does this bet close 1 week before end of year?  Wouldn't the smart bet be to wait and see what it looks like 1 week out?

Why does this bet close 1 week before end of year?  Wouldn't the smart bet be to wait and see what it looks like 1 week out?

bitbet.us uses weighted bets based on when you bet... you get more bang for your buck the earlier you place your bet

bitbet.us uses weighted bets based on when you bet... you get more bang for your buck the earlier you place your bet

Ah. Thanks.  I'm not much of a betting man, but this one will be close - 480mil xmas day.
