Found no such a collection in the forum.
People could use this collection for looking up the possibilities.
Some friends would like to join crypto, but have no overview info about exchanges.

Shall we write up some collection?

You could simply tell me if there is anything people should know about your favorite exchange.

No offense but, is it really necessary though?
Most major exchange are still accepting new members and only few has put a limit or completely stopping a new member to register.
I don't think this list won't get any bigger in future.

Anyway, last time I checked Bitfinex still accepting new member.

Shall we write up some collection?

You could simply tell me if your favorite exchanges still accept new registrations or not or with limited access.

[Last update: 01/09/2018]

Exchanges that accept new registrations (limitless):
TuxExchange

Exchanges that accept no new registration:
Bittrex

Exchanges that accept new registrations with limit (e.g.: daily 100 new members):
Binance

The only exchanges i know that accepts new registrations is the etherdelta exchange this exchange really my favorite.

Anyway, last time I checked Bitfinex still accepting new member.
Bitfinex doesn't accept new users anymore. Just try to sign up for a new account, and you'll see a notification pop up where they explain why they don't accept new users anymore. They'll open up again by January 15th they say.

Great thing for people is that Bitstamp, Gemini and GDAX are still allowing people to sign up. These are probably the most trustworthy exchanges in the industry, and they are still open for business.

Who wants to sign up at a stinking exchange as Bitfinex when you can sign up at one of the aforementioned exchanges? The only question for now remains how long before they halt new user registrations too......

I observed these also but even though they would accept new accounts, it would take a week for it to confirmed by their management. It is not every hour that they have that costumers service because i notice cryptpcurrency is now gaining popularity and people want to make accounts in different exchange sites to buy their own btc or just try how to make trades in those sites.

Thank you! I have updated the thread.
I could add plus information like lengthy confirmation time or limited registrations per day.

Appreciate your effort to make the list, but I do not think it is very useful. If you do not mind, I would suggest you to make a list of all exchange with all details of it  especially about the withdrawal fees, need ID verification or not, trading fees, etc.
I think it would be much more useful than a list of exchange that is not accepting/still accepting new registration.

I only know a few commercial sites do not accept new registration as Binance, most of the remaining commercial sites still accept the normal registration. You can trade in some big decks like Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptopia, Coinexchange ... These are big floors and you look for opportunities on these floors.

i guess its just temporary, i've tried to sign up in bittrex and i noticed that they stop accepting new members, the problem is many people joining the crypto space every day and it becomes bigger and bigger, will thes exchanges solve thier problem.

Guess the better thread would be "Exchanges not anymore accepting new registration" because from your list there isn't really much that doesn't accept new registration hence the general rule is that exchanges still accept new registrants.

Although, from your list I would suggest you add something like "exchanges that require KYC/ID before registration". Because, for example, Poloniex requires you to present ID at registration or you won't be able to even deposit and trade, even though they still allow registration. That is quite different from accepting or not accepting new registration.

Another point though, since exchanges are getting stricter and stricter, this has now been a new business of people on the forum. They're now selling accounts on these exchanges. This was not possible back when registrations were all open and easy to do. I guess it will be big business soon enough since there are a lot of people wanting to get into crypto.

That's one of the most useful topics that I have seen this week.
I would like to add some to the list.

Poloniex- as of now(1/12), it accepts new users, and also responding really fast for the enhanced verification requests.
Seems like the exchange has hired a lot of stuffs and it Poloniex are actually responding to tickets!.
Bittrex- Won't accept any new users.
Kraken- Won't accept any new users, as for 12/18/17
Binance- Won't accept any new users, but I heard about a trick that you can register through the Launch pad, it is worth checking out.

If they not accept new registrations i think you need only to wait until they accept again like in binance that reach their limit but still they only need maintenance so they can manage again to accept new member in binance.I think also we need to deposit in all exchanger here so we learn knowledge about all of that and we can use it here,Moreover OP your post are constructive in some way and if newbie see this post of your they will know some exchanger another thing add mercatox because it's good for beginners.

In order to avoid overloading and scams, some large commercial sites are currently preventing them from registering new accounts. Perhaps this is the way to cool down the market of commercial sites after some big countries around the world have strong policy to prevent bitcoins and other altcoin transactions and exchanges.

Thanks for the info. It is helpful if this thread could be more enhanced by providing the support response along with the exchanges if they respond quickly or no repose etc so that according people will register on those exchanges.

Also if the trading fees could be mentioned against the exchanges will make the best of this thread to refer .

Not yet, but if anyone else is having this issue too, I could mention it under the exchange. In order to notify others. As well as the solution when we have.
