Hello Guys,

I recently just thought of an idea. I want to create a group which thousands of cryptocurrency investors. All of our money combined may equal a million or more. With all this money we can invest at the same time causing a noticeable increase or decrease in prices. If we all buy one at a time the prices will slowly go up causing others to join us. Once we all bought we wait for the price to reach its peak and all sell at once. We could make a lot of profit off of this because we could then predict the market more accurately.

So let's see:  This is a noob account looking to take tons of people's money without providing any sort of proof of money management skills or anything that would lead people to believe this is a legit offer.  Take a hike, dude. 

Or at least make an effort to explain who you are and why anyone should take you seriously.  If you don't do that, you're more likely to end up with negative trust--not that you probably care, because this account here is probably a throwaway one anyway.

Someone already had big bitcoin to handle it . include the website exchange . its hard almost close impossible to playing the market chart.
maybe you can in alt coin if you had a big bitcoin . but we didn't know who the big holders the alt coin and how about the dev.
lets say you still want do this im curious how many bitcoin you already have it for now ?

The profits you are making from the pump and dump come from who? I think from the people you are trying to get into the group especially the unlearned one. I think one should not be full for this as this is a pure manipulations. I will not be part of this as I think many are going to lose money through this. However, this is a personal opinion. 1. The idea doesn't work. You might want to refer to and read up on "pump and dump". Plenty of pump threads available in this very forum. You'll soon learn that your idea is not new, many have tried it before and ultimately it doesn't work.

2. If it does work, it will be only for the few, early ones who dump before the rest do. This means that the only way it can work is by dumping after the ones who buy into your pump raise the price high enough. By the time you dump successfully, price will have crashed, leaving all the late pumpers holding cheap coins. Sounds like a scam to me. So I consider all pump groups scams.

3. If this were a legit request for info, you'd be using your own account.

Waste of time. People in crypto since last year will never join a group like this. They all are aware how's the crypto works. Even you right with the statement of big money affecting market, people are not stupid to let their money manage by someone who only talk via email.

It will not work, if you are just trying what would happen if you succeeded on doing this thing. And You are asking for money because you want them to pump up a certain token or what which may lead to profit uncertainty. You have no credentials to do this, and do not drag people on your imaginations , do not drag people to waste their money on your "idea". Study it first and provide a report or an event that such "idea" can provide a lot of profit.

There's a term for what you're describing. Here's what wikipedia has to say about it.

You're basically describing a hedge fund. I think you might need to fill out some paperwork and submit to regulatory action, else you could have the SEC busting down your door.

Its not a bad idea. Its basically what wealthy investors do. I just saw a news story claiming this was a great year for hedge funds, incidentally. I bet bitcoin and crypto investments played a big role in that.

Can it maybe work with a few people 2-3 and an escrow to hold to the invested money. I was thinking of this a few hours ago, and it might work, like if someone would like to invest but doesn't have any funds, he might partner up with someone who would invest for tho of them and the split would be somewhat 60/30 and 10% for the escrow (of course collateral would be in place from the one who isn't investing anything). How about this?

1) You aren't really creating alot of value here. And probably more than half of your group will lose money on the transaction as everyone in your group goes to sell and then so does everyone else that is holding the coin outside of your group.

2) You also would not have enough buyers in the market of that coin at your exit if you are attacking any coin that for $1 million you could have any great effect.

3) In the end you are proposing more of just a buying club presumably with a fee rather than a scheme that will have any success as you have proposed.

Oh, this is quite a good and suspicious idea, nice one. So if I happen to join you, in who’s hand are we investing into, you? Oh cool. So everyone will invest their money into your hand as a group, and as a smart newbie, you make away with their money. Such a nice scam idea, you want to make money quick, but it won’t work.

It's a good idea but its 50% terrible at the same time, theres a lot of whales or who handle a lots of bitcoin and has massive amount of bitcoin. There might be a issue if only one would care for their bitcoin, and for sure not everybody will take care of it so it must be unanimous. It might be the bubble what others talking about, you got a lot of bitcoin and when price hits the highest point you will all convert it into cash which will tend to deflation, a big decrease to bitcoin's vlalue.

So you have just discovered by yourself the concept of a pump-and-dump group. IMO it is far easier to loose money than to earn money with such a groups. I strongly advise against it, as it has been proven bad for everyone.

That's right, it is obviously an illegal scheme from a selfish and manipulative group of people like the Op's trying to build, you get caught be ready to face the sanctions from doing this, it is a really bad scheme and unfair for those people who trade fairly and naturally a lot of people here tried that you don't want to know what is the outcome.

The idea you are proposing here is not new, what you want to do is to create a cryptocurrency pump and dump group that will be profitable for everyone. But before this PND become successful/effective people that will join should hold a lot of money to invest in cryptocurrency so whenever there is a plan to pump a coin it will be possible, what I'm referring are whales. So the question here is how will you encourage big investors to join your PND group, and what can you provide to earn their trust? because most of pump and dump groups out there are not really effective and some groups are full of scammers. And I repeat this will not work if there are no whales involved.
