Given that Bitcoin is stuck in its tracks, I believe that this gives other coins especially Eth, an advantage and a chance to catch up... The gap has been closing and alt coins overtaking Bitcoin is definitely possible.

There is a high possibility for Etherium to reach Bitcoin....anything may happen
Its possible and i believe it could reach or maybe surpass bitcoin in future. 2017 was a year for bitcoin and this year might be for Etherium. But since bitcoin has high price so it may takes 5 years to reach or surpass the bitcoins. Its raising slowly but not decreasing. Nothing is impossible in crypto's world. There's was a time when bitcoin's price was less than 500 and now its almost touch 20k. |

According to myself, Etherium have a chance to reach bitcoin. And i believe it will happen in future. But i also think this is not essay as well. Eth is a very promising coin that's why we can hope that eth should reach $10000

It is not called Etherium it is calle Ethereum  I dont think to Ethereum will overtake bitcoin in the future but Ethereum could be worth 10000 US dollar in the ext couple of years. If the marketcap keeps on rising after the dip we will defintly see these prices! |

Since in the cryptocurreny everything is possible I can say the answer is yes but it will happen through a long time process. It could also be possible that it will loss the value because of some negativity that eth has but this is just a little problem and I think can be fix easily. Ethereum is growing very well, but it's still a long way to go with Bitcoin because bitcoins are going to grow very well in the next few years and it's hard to see which altcoin can catch up with it. I think that in 2018 this bitcoin will reach $ 50,000 and Ethereum will reach $ 10,000. This will happen and I expect it. |

that possibility exists, but for now, I do not think it has reached that price yet, even now only the bitcoin that has the highest price alone has not reached that much, because all the coins are falling all, but dont know next year

agree kak, eth is able to compete with bitcoin. because now eth is also fairly expensive so we do not waste if we can only get eth, but not bitcoin. because both are equally big. |

Definitely, Ethereum will go to the Bitcoin as where it is today. Since its inception, Ethereum has increased more than a millionth of times and reach the $1300. So, why not it will grow 10 times more at least to reach the Bitcoin value.

Definitely can. However, the process will take us at least 2 years. I doubt that ethereum can hit $10000 in less than a year. Moreover, bitcoin will not stand in one place and watch ethereum grow. I believe that bitcoin will increase up to $50000 in the next 5 years. IN somehow, I believe that it is hard for any coin to take over bitcoin because bitcoin is a legacy which people always consider priceless just like gold. Bitcoin will become digital gold. |
