Can ethereum be beat Bitcoin

In today’s market I would lean over to Ethereum and I have some valid reason for it.

Ethereum is not currency but it’s a token , although both bitcoin and Ethereum are based upon the block chain technology in my Point of view ethereum will one day outperform Bitcoin. It may not be in the near future but the concept/technology behind Ethereum will definitely catch upto Bitcoin.

Even though many companies are using etherium, they will not ever beat bitcoin because, bitcoin is everywhere and well known online money and total etherium users will not match the total bitcoin users.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and the most popular coin, but Ethereum has grown quite popular too in just over two years, I think ETH is on the right path in becoming Bitcoin like in terms market foundation and stability. ETH, I believe will grow as much or even more in value than what Bitcoin is today. ETH is more stable.

i think no. cause we all know that bitcoin was so valuable than etherium cause bitcoin was limited. i believe that bitcoin would rise up again and be the most expensive crypto currency in the world worth sixty thousand dollars per pieces. many of us expecting too much in bitcoin so we would like to rise up this crypto currency.

I don't think ethereum can beat bitcoin.Though ethereum has also a potential in the market but still bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency for me,bitcoin is more profitable than ethereum.

I think it's possible because Bitcoin also start from the bottom, but Ethereum will take many years to increase it's price or to compete with the price of bitcoin.

So far it seems ethereum can not beat the price of bitcoin, because the price of ethereum and other coin currency also come to skyrocket. Because bitcoin is the parent of cryptocurrency. But one day ethereum can beat bitcoin, but it still takes a long time.

I do not think so. I think the main source of bitcoin is all. Of course other coins will rise, but they will not rise as much as bitcoin.

Ethereum is already being used more than bitcoin (it does over a million transactions a day compared to just 250,000 for bitcoin).

The only thing restricting Ethereum's growth is regulators stepping in to stop ICOs. If ICO's are regulated rather than banned though, Ethereum could go from strength to strength.

That could happen but right now the value gap of bitcoin to ethereum is very high it would take months or years before ethereum could reach the value of bitcoin.

can ethereum be beat bitcoin comparison to bitcoin bitcoin takes more time to transmit the coin while ethereum is very fast but the price of ethereum is $830 and the price of bitcoin is $8700 there are big difference in both value but nothing is impossible in the world.

All possibilities can happen and if one day ethereum can beat bitcoin then I think this is a good thing because in terms of speed and cost ethereum is better than bitcoin.

I do not think so.  Bitcoin is bitcoin.  It is the first digital currency ever created.  We know that ethereum is next to bitcoin considering its value.  But it will not comes first with bitcoin because bitcoin is the basis of them all.  If bitcoin dies, then so all of them.

The only crypto currency that has a chance of beating Bitcoin is Bitcoin Cash because ever since it was created by the fork of August 1 2017, it has gone on to become the second most valuable crypto currency after Bitcoin itself and has overtaken Ethereum itself which was previously the second valuable crypto currency

I agree. BTC is lagging. Long confirmation time, and expensive. Enough said. However, it is the Nike of Crypto currency and has name recognition. It may not be the fast payment system that everybody wants and needs but it is a good store of value... until it comes crashing down with all the other crypto currencies LMAO!!! HODL

Ethereum is a very promosing alt coin. For my opinion the profit for ETH is bigger than Bitcoins .

probably, because if we look at the price of Bitcoin versus Ethereum, it seems that ethereum beats other digital currencies that can be compared with bitcoin. Ethereum market capitalization is rapidly approaching Bitcoin.
