Interested to know: are there more day-traders or holders here?

maybe the same . Cause sometimes bitcoin holders doing trading and traders hold some bitcoin also. because doing both is so profitable which is it can help us to multiply our earnings every day. And also holding bitcoin is good cause it can cover our profit incase we lose in trading .

If you want fast results but a little then start trading only. But if you want results that are larger then the hold only coins and invest in the long term.

I think choosing between day - trading and holding depends on the function of the coin. If you see a good potential on a coin, you start to trust it and start to hold, like ethereum and bitcoin. But if a coin which showing it with just daily pumps or dumps, just like ripple, it is better if you make just daily-trade with that.

Probably there are more holders since to be able to day trade, you need a lot of time in your hands and if you have a regular job, its kinda hard to get time and you will miss a lot of opportunities. Plus you need to know what you are doing.

I think it depends on the market of coin if you deal it or not. Maybe day trader have more risk in dealing in coin market everyday while holders can see if coins goes down or rising.  but it better to hold your coin.

It still is crypto and anything can happen. With daytrading you can make 10-20% if you take your time for it. On the long term coins can go 6x-10x if it is a solid project. So i alwayse keep a large part of my portfolio in longterm solid coins, for now that would be neo, icon, aelf and aion. Next to that i keep a 5-10% of my wallet for daytrading in volatile coins and also a 10-15 in btc so i can buy the dip

I can describe myself as a holder. I do day trading sometimes though.
I want to use my time efficiently to focus on long term projects. And solid projects haven't let me down mostly.

I have an altcoin that I just hold and I also trade. so there is no similar situation, there are many people who hold some altcoins, but trade with other tokens. yes I guess a lot of people are doing it like me.

I more prefer for holding good coins. You can get a very good profit from day trading. But you need to have a very good knowledge. It is risky and time consuming. That is why i prefer holding.

I think for most regular people not being able to monitor the market 24/7, day trading is waste of money and time. It can be profitable if you have decent sources of information and with some luck you can make huge gains over days. How ever long term hodler is the winner in 1/2 years i believe, with a technolgy just in his child shoe's its now the time to hold!

The best thing to do is split your investment into two. You have an investment for day trading and the other one is for holding term. Just reseach an altcoin that you can earn profit for day trades and there are many altcoins have a potential in the future for long term holdings and you can earn a great profits.

Day trading is very good way for nice profit but it's risky, it takes courage and knowledge, also a lot of time soent on the exchangers.
This is not for everybody and of course that is much easier just to hold and wait that the price does the job for you. But day traders are far more active nad their profit is much biger, if they are good.

While others are claiming that they are a day-trader, there are times they will need to shift to being a holder because if you are trapped holding a bag of coins that you just bought and suddenly the price of Altcoin or Bitcoin dropped, you have no choice but to hold on to it and wait till the price recovers, unless you plan to sell at loss price.

Day trading is profitable if you have big bankroll with which you can operate through the market. Also, you must be very fast if you want to increase your profit. Knowledge is the key to the success of the day trading and without the proper analyzation, you can only suffer the big looses in the end. Long-term investment is recommended for all the newcomers that have freshly arrived in the market because it is more secure and you cant lose your money on the instance. You have the time to think about your actions and if you are fearing that you had made the wrong choices you can always pull your investment into some other coins. With that moves your loss can be reduced.
