Hey guys

I have this on hand i wanted you feedback before using it.

I have an Antminer S7 and two HP DPS-800GB PSUs. Ill be getting 800W per psu on 110v each.

I just realized on each PCI-E connector, there are only One positive and Negative on each PCI-E connector

Will it work or cause any damage?

thanks!

Were the hell did you get that PSU/Breakout???
IT IS A FIRE HAZARD!
Return it!!!
Each PCIe connector pin is only rated for at most 8 amps and preferably 5 or less. 800W/12v=66.666A/3 connectors = 22.222A pushed through each of them.
PCIe power means using ALL 6 pins in the connectors, not just 2!

What if i would purchase new6 pin PCI-E 14 AWG cables and replace the pci-e would that salvage it or just repurchase a APW++1600w?

If you can replace the PCIe leads with enough to fill all 3 connectors on each card then ja you will be fine. 1 PSU will need 6 leads, the other just 4 leads.

1 caveat: You will be feeding 2 cards with 1 PSU and the 3rd card & controller with the 2nd PSU. Power on the 2 hash boards first, then the remaining card and controller.
DO NOT CONNECT 2 PSU's together on 1 card - they will fight each other and the results are usually not pretty...

All in all, for next time,  it is far better to just use a single PSU per miner vs multiple ones. No risk of incorrect connections/wrong turn-on sequence but also means you usually need 220v power.
