The easier way is to cash out half of your invesment and reinvest in better project. Also tell your friend to invest in Elixir, it is an very promising lending project.

Personally, I base it on market cap. If the market cap gets into the top 50, I sell off 25%. At top 30, I sell off another 25%. I try to let 50% of my original holdings "ride" but if I see a promising project then sometimes I'll sell off a bit more to free up capital.

When each and every coin is shining in the green is a sign of cashing out. Don't cash out on a red day like today because you are getting lesser fiat for your coins. But remember to cash out at regular intervals like once in a month or twice to avoid magic crashes and panic selling.

if you see coin with a low value and you think has the potential to boost in the next days, then that is the time for you to cash in and invest in it.

In a such fast developing market, the best time to cash out to buy cheaper coins is nothing but now. but I think we are not at ath now.

I use this strategy: waiting for the coin will make x2, and after that, 50% goes on the purchase of new coins, 25% leave in the long term and 25% cash. So my portfolio is constantly updated with new coins and I can withdraw cash without loss of Deposit.

Now is the best time to invest. Buy some cheaper coins that you think that has a big possibility that its value will increase in the future.

Set a goal, he already had too much percentage of profit, he should be able to release some and let the prices increase again. There is nothing to lose for him now, he already gained too much, he should be able to take some risks in the market.

There are two things i consider whenver i cash in. First is the price of bitcoin and second is the cash in fee. Of course you would want the price of bitcoin to drop first in order to get a decent amount of bitcoin from the real money you are spending. However, regardless if the bitcoin price is low but the cash in fee is too high, i doubt youd get a the ideal amount you are expecting in your wallet. Im not sure if this is how your wallet works with fees but in mine, the price changes from time to time; you just gotta have a good timing.

In general trading strategy the best time to cash in is two consecutive days of decline. When you see the technical analysis of your altcoin start to Bear position(Market start to profit taking).

Best time to invest in alts is when the whole market bleeds like what we have yesterday the alts are down in an average 30-40% yesterday they are very cheap than the usual price.

I agree with the guy above. When there's a sign in the graph that there's trend line break or reversal in trend, that's the time to sell and take profit. Then after that you and your friend can relax while waiting for the uptrend to occur and buy again.

I thought cash in = taking profit.
You can invest anytime you want as long as you know what you do. Just take the advantage of the chosen coin you want to invest when it is negative in charts. Don't invest when it's on ATH.

OP i only invest 0.005 btc in past 2017 to some different coins and i earn like 6x to 7x now then i cash out half of it to secure my money in investing so even i lose i still earn and back my investing that's my strategy after that repeat what you do in investing that's my cycle in trading you can use it for the safety of your money but if your first investing not go well try and try until you succeed.

Never sale the whole coins at one time, the best way is sale 1/4th of your coin than after an interval of 15 days or a month sale the next 1/4th, take chance to get more and more benefit of your coins, if there is an  unexpected boom than you can sale huge no. of coins. In case of downfall sell all the coins to mate your investment amount.

Yesterday was just a great opportunity to start your journey in the crypt world. Unless, of course, you managed to buy something yesterday, I think today you already felt that your wallet became a bit bigger, I think it's 20% accurate.

From my short experience, i would say to cash as soon as you can when you make enough benefits, it is part of the game, if you keep waiting you can loose everything

I'm fully agree. Yesterday was a perfect chance to get in and I did so with my $. My yesterday positions have already bring around 30% of profit considering all fees to get in.

It depend when the price is high or average that you best time you can cash in.But there conflict with the fee if it is high or low so. And it is great opportunity to start today so you can earn for your future in the world of crypto.

If you are a short term trader then it is a good time to sell but if you a long term investor then it has a long journey and you can get decent returns in long term.

Best time to cash your profit is when you feel the value has reached it's peak and when you feel it will start to dip. This knowledge usually comes with experience and with a bit of luck too. But you can get an idea of when a dip is going to happen usually from small patterns in the altcoins behavior.

The best time to cash in is when you feel the value is at a peak and is about to dip. And when it dips then buy more and repeat process. With experience you can begin to predict the market and you will know when times are right.
