CAUTION!!!!!
Did founders snatch premine?
Founders have never proved they use 2.10 M Koto for bounties.

What are you trying to say us? You suspect developers of deception, you think that this project is a scam ?

I don't feel it's a big issue.

User 'Babayshik' is a newbie, but your options are set such that you cannot receive PMs from newbies. Therefore, you cannot send PMs to newbies, either.
Are there other channels of communication?
Ow, I didn’t know that. You can email me at: babaevs @ inbox.ru

Anyone following their official discord or so? What are the latest news from developers on the topic?
Recently in the thread here there is nothing new, except for some semi-relevant discussions Smiley

They renew the forum on the web site (discourse).  They recommend separating the way for discourse and that for discord.

I agree with this statement, without the stock exchange there will be no success.
Look at how the network shrinks and weakens every day.

So if GPU can not mining, is it worthwhile to mine with CPU? And what are the ways I can mine this coin?

Only CPU mining. Here are the steps to mine:

Here is a step-by-step tutorial how to mine Koto on Windows 10 PC:

Disclaimer: all the links are taken from the official page here; also you must turn off anti virus program or create exceptions otherwise you wont be able to use koto miner and wallets.

1. Get a wallet

- online one can be registered from here:
https://makewallet.online/

- downloadable wallet can be taken from here:
https://github.com/koto-dev/koto/releases/tag/171224

1.1. Make sure you have latest Java installed on PC
1.2. Run the .bat file and wait for it to finish install (will take some time)
1.3. Execute the WalletUI.jar if you have lates Java this will happen with one click. If not, you need to create a separate .bat file in order to run it with this inside the .bat file
- java -jar KotoSwingWalletUI.jar
1.4. Click the bat file and you will have a wallet ON

2. Choose a pool. Here is the list with all
https://list.kotopool.work/

3. Get a miner

- not compiled
https://github.com/koto-dev/cpuminer-yescrypt

- compiled (I use it, hopefully I am not also miningfor someone else too Smiley
http://d.koto.cash/kotominers_2017_last_ver.zip

3.1. Create a .bat file and inside enter your data, for example:
minerd_nehalem.exe -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://jp.kotopool.work:3333 -u wallet address, must start with k1 -p random password

3.2. Start the .bat file and enjoy, a normal laptop gives around 1-2 kh/s

Do you know the release koto 1.0.14?
I feel that the dev team pay little attemsion to this forum and non-Japanese.
You have required the listing.
But they don't care because they pay attension only to discord.
If we wanna join koto in a true sense, we need to learn Japanese. They don't care the nice opinion in English.

Look at how the network shrinks and weakens every day.

It seems to fluctuate between 6Mhs and 9Mhs. If you watch the various pools, they fail about once every one or two weeks which tends to account for the bigger dips in hash rate. Everything about this screams "I'm still a development project", however when Japan wakes up or when they get home in the evening, the hashrate spikes.

I think the biggest thing that people are missing is the fact that this seems to be a very "grassroots" type of setup, so of course you're not going to get rich overnight.

You are mistaken, this drinking is not due to pools
This fall is due to the fact that the miners leave - without seeing the prospects
6MH it is saved already couple of days
on peak the network was 10 MH
