I use coinbase.com to recieve bitcoins, and finaly I met a problem of "unconfirmed transaction" , so that I can't send my bitcoins to any address now .The status was "pending " for 24h,and then the transaction will be cancel.

I was troubled by this problem for days(>5 days) ,and I wrote emails to coinbase.com, but didn't get any reply from them.

What happened ?

Is coinbase.com still alive ?    Sad

[2013/9/24 edit]

So finally the problem seems  to have been resolved. Here was reply:

Quote
It was somehow recorded in your balance twice adding 85.44 BTC twice to your account. So when you tried to send the additional 85 BTC out of your account, it was staying pending because those bitcoin were already spent.

And my account was adjust to 0.2btc  Cry

Perhaps this was the trueth , but I have been unable to reconciliation now ,as too many transations in my account.

Anyway this post is ended now,Thanks for your attention.

Did they cancel the transaction or do you still have the transaction saying pending?

Transactions will be canceled automaticlly after 24 hours ,and then bitcoins return to my account.

I can't send any bitcoins now ,when I send ,it shows "pending" ,and then it will be canceled after 24 hours later.

I was very surprised that coinbase.com didn't reply the email and help posts more than 2days.

I was having this problem two or three days ago.  It even told me that I had the bitcoins in my account and let me try to transfer them, but of course they never went anywhere and those transactions were removed from my history.

They finally showed up about 12 hrs later and Coinbase wrote me back and said they were having problems with "blockchain sync" or something like that.  I don't buy it but seems like it was working correctly the last couple of days.

My bank account got unlinked out of nowhere. I have no idea why.

Are you verified? I would suggest speaking with Coblee, he's technically not Customer Support but he may be able to provide some advice.

I remember when everyone was saying to use coinbase. All the good places seem to go to shit after a while.

Their e-mail response time seems to be around one week. At least they do reply to you.

They just banned one of my bank accounts out of the blue today saying that my order was "high risk".  I'm in the USA and never done anything unusual with my account.  Oh well whatever.

Olaf from Coinbase here.

I'm sorry about the cancellation. We use machine learning algorithms to determine risk, and their ability to differentiate a scammer from a legitimate user is getting better, but isn't perfect. Shoot me a PM with enough of your email address that I can find your account, or send a note to support[at]coinbase.com, and I'll review your account.

I also apologize for the delays in support responses in the last couple weeks - we are actively hiring additional support staff.
