There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It's legal to sell your stuff in exchange for bitcoin, question is how legal OP's prepaid card were?
Since OP says we can specify the amount the card has I'm gonna bet its manually loaded from his bank account/money.
Since OP is a newbie, his balance could be gained from illegal means or just a bogus service.

Can you @OP prove that your prepaid card were loaded with money legally?
