This thread is to promote actual stores and people who sell services for ALTcoins. *Some sites may charge a premium for the risk they incur in trading for alternative currency Caveat emptorThe Rules to stay listed: - Store has to sell something whether it be a good or service (such as hosting). - Store must accept at least one Alternative cryptocurrency cannot just be BTC- And any scam accusation will get a tag if confirmed move to a list of known scam sites. - Any store can be removed by the owner, for obvious inacticty or if its no longer available. - I will continually prune the thread as stores are added and to keep it clean and usable. - Help me help you by PMing me any change to your store that needs to be noted. OK, so you consider a store charging 6x value for items not a scam? Taking advantage of naive people that might not realize the worth of what they have?
noun 1. a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; swindle.
You can't expect everyone to do their due diligence, that's why we still get emails from Nigerian princes
|
Dacentec, best deals for US dedicated servers. They regularly restock $20-$25 Opterons with 8-16GB RAM & 2x1-2TB HDD's (ofc, usually lots of other good stuff to choose from). I did a Serverbear benchmark of one of my $20/mo Opteron (June last year), it's here. Have had about a half dozen different servers with Dacentec, & none have failed to sustain at least 40MB/s (burst higher). My favorite is a 12-month rent-to-own ZT Systems 2XL5520 16GB 2x2TB SATA for $40/month (got lucky with the 'off-brand', haven't seen a RTO 2xL5520 for under $50/mo since -- at least for monthly contracts). wholesaleinternet.com has some ancient 2-core intel CPUs @ $10/mo sometimes (I got an Intel Core 2 6300 @ 1.86GHz, with a 250GB HDD with 46000 hours on it, LOL. $20 @ Dacentec is much better, if you can grab one). joesdatacenter.com (same location as Wholesale Internet) also occasionally has specials (or if you don't want to wait, it has an AMD Opteron 170 @ $16/mo).

- Store must accept at least one Alternative cryptocurrency besides BTC
What if a site doesn't accept Bitcoin, but accepts an alt coin? e.g. https://www.worldcoincentral.com/K.

Not sure I agree I mean a convenience store charges a premium. Lots of stores charge a premium for many reasons. Calling an altcoin store that tries to get a profit a confidence game is a tad over the top I think. And we don't ban email to prevent Nigerian princes. People dont start a store to lose money. This world of everything needs a warning label is getting a tad out of control "Coffee is hot" "smoking is bad for you" "Acid will hurt you" "Don't stick this knife into your eye its sharp", but despite my personal Darwin approach to humanity I will put a note on it.

Just wondering. I went through the list and can't see any stores that are 6X the value. None that are even out of line. Just wondering if my test store is the one that he is calling out?
I can't say my prices are nailed down yet, I have to see how I can make things more efficient as I do a few transactions. 1 problem for altcoin stores people have to consider. Unless I am missing something, if you want to trade in something such as Bottlecaps, you have to run the coins you receive through 2 exchanges (Each taking a fee) in order to get USD back out. You also have a bit of time between both exchanges where prices can fall (Making the store take a loss for the transaction)
Second my "store" isn't exactly a store yet. If I do manage to sell an iTunes card, I will have to drive down to the mall, purchase an iTunes card, scratch it, and send the code via e-mail. If people actually start buying cards, you can see, I can easily make this process more efficient, such as buying in bulk when they go on sale, or looking into getting a better way to purchase them for a discount, in both cases I can lower the prices on my site.
If you want to take the time to run your altcoins thru the exchanges and use your USD to purchase whatever you want for less, then by all means don't use my site. I am doing this more as a way of adding value to a few of my fav alt coins than making money (trust me driving 2 kms to the store to buy a card for a $1 profit is NOT worth it).

Coingas will get your order out as quick as possible, I have posted out games on 1 confirmation many times, especially with BTC. The adult toys site takes 24hrs dispatch and international order another 24hrs for tracking info to show in the account. Sometimes I am asleep so coingas might be slow, my apologies, but we are improving all the time delivery and pricing a top priority.

https://coinpayments.net/I'm surprised no one has mentioned coinpayments yet, it looks extremely promising if they deliver, it's basically like Bitpay but it's just for cryptocurrencies, I don't think they're doing paper money just yet, but I haven't seen what their future plans are so don't take my word on that but it looks like on their website they're just focusing on the digital stuff. Note: I did some more digging and it looks like they at least transfer your money to paypal though I don't know how well that would work, I only trust the digital currencies now really

We are mainly focusing on coin transactions from customer to client. No future plans on USD as of now. Thanks for the mention tho!

Tagbond.com. Anyone can set up their own merchant account for free, with subdomain (name.tagbond.com) as front facing website, and create different marketing modules called Tagverts. These modules include direct sales, coupons, shopping carts, polls, surveys, competitions, auctions and more. They can all be priced in BTC or TAG. Tagbond enables any tagverts to have a reward attached to entice customers to visit or take a particular action (signup, visit, eat at a restaurant etc). In addition, Tagverts can have a referral fee attached so that anyone who shares the tagvert on facebook, will earn 80% of that fee when a friend takes advantage of that tagvert and buys something or takes the action the original advertiser wanted. There is a complete API to allow integration of the advertising, rewards and payment system into your own apps and websites. Coming up shortly: - RSS feeds will allow you to list tagverts on your site or blog, a bit like google adsense, and you get to keep 80% of any advertising rewards income earned. - Classifieds and auction tagverts for personal posting. Sell anything and optionally offer a reward to anyone who helps you sell it. At the moment, BTC and TAG supported, although we may take in LTC at some point. 9 different Fiat currencies also feature in the system, as well as a trading platform to exchange BTC and TAG in Fiat. The system has been built over the last 8 months, is in beta but in active use. Tagcoin was created 4 weeks ago with the express purpose of being used as a universal rewards currency within Tagbond and elsewhere. It was released fairly, currently priced at $1 but hard to buy. Miners seem to want to keep hold of it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=317408Tagbond is backed by USD 5m in investment from Mark Vernon (who also owns vtc.com, iplotz.com and eduslide.com), and is headquartered in Manila, Philippines. Currently with a staff of 30 and growing. Any queries or suggestions feel free to PM me..:-)

Hiazma games, company which develops marine online-shooter SeaСraft (seacraft.sc), recently announced that it started to receive payments in cryptocurrencies. HG develops online-shooter SeaСraft and iOS-game Dominator. The games will be released in first half of 2014, and sales of early access will start in Steam on 30 January. The game received approval from Steam-community ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=110997073), where about 70 thousands gamers are waiting for its launch. About 15 thousands people registered on forum for taking part in beta-testing , which next step is planned on 18 December. Shortly before, the company published a report ( http://forum.seacraft.sc/en/index.php/topic/679-new-way-to-get-the-seacraft-%E2%80%93-crypto-currencies/#entry2992), that any player can now purchase a game set for cryptocurrencies - increasingly popular way of making payments. HG says, that they did it to support development of modern technologies. In the short explanation for our site, HG company representative said that the current solution due to a request from the users who are willing and able to use more actively cryptocurrencies in everyday life. Community of people using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies daily expanding and it needs a market where you can make payments without fear in honest transactions and legally. To facilitate these goals, the developers of SeaCraft are thinking about special bonuses for those players who will make the payment in cryptocurrencies. Those willing to use the new method of payment undoubtedly exist, because even before the start of open testing several hundred sets of the game has been sold on 15 thousand dollars, and the game itself, overcoming many difficulties on the way to release, could become a competitor of marine online game by Wargaming. We hope that the company will be faithful to its promises even after the game release. At the moment, anyone can buy the game sets for one of the four cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Novacoin, Terracoin.
And HG promises that this list may be extended, but not shortened. Why do they choose this list of currencies? Why it is not limited with only Bitcoin? Is it planned to hold micro-payments in cryptocurrencies and how they will receive funds? These and other questions will be sent to HG, and we will publish their response in further news. ================================================================================================== The popular russian hosting company datafly.ru, representing some of the most competitive prices on the market , announced receiving payment in cryptocurrencies. Now it's possible to buy a domain, hosting and order a dedicated server immediately with several popular cryptocurrencies . The company announced that the commission is set at 5 %, and exchange rates are used from BTC-e.com. Later reception of the payments will be optimized in order to reduce the commission. List of accepted currencies : Bitcoin Litecoin Terracoin Namecoin The company says that it may add an English version of the site, if the request will come from English-speaking users.

We have just launched Earthazaar, The Earthcoin Superstore. At Earthazaar you can add your own storefront, sell products, list items for auction, or even post freelance work. Anyone can now easily earn alt-coins by auctioning used items, selling new products, or providing services. The only currency we accept is Earthcoin (EAC). We also have a promotional listing bonus; look here for details: https://earthcointalk.org/groups/earthazaar/forum/topic/earthazaar-launch-and-giveaway/. So, you can earn EAC just for listing an auction item. You can join Earthazaar by visiting https://earthazaar.com. Just look for the seller links in the footer.

Can you recommend a website that has an accurate chart that shows how many Devcoins it takes to get 1 Bitcoin ? And since we're talking about new alt coin exchanges and avoiding any other MtGox type exchanges from getting so many customers to join their site. What about this new alt coin named MtGox Coin, how much does it cost for one coin, what are its prospects for rising in value, in general what is it all about ? it's interesting that an alt coin with the name MtGox coin is being promoted so soon after all of the trouble that happened with MtGox. They are claiming that the new coins success will benefit those who were taken in by MtGox. Have you read or heard about it yet andwill you be listing it on your new exchange ? All of those ex MtGox customers who and their accounts which were effected by MtGox's unreliable business practices have not gotten anything to reimburse them with yet. Most if not all of those ex MtGox customers highly unfair and criminally enacted losses are far from being completely looked into, investigated, uncovered and resolved. Those MtGox customers who were so blatantly mistreated, swindled, and robbed of their hard earned savngs of Bitcoins deserve to get their alt coin money back asap ! In a response to what happened to and with MtGox there have been many new alt coin exchanges opening up online. A lot of them are doing this in order to take up the slack, because of what happened to and with MtGox, which ended up releasing so many of their former customers back into the alt coin exchange market place looking for an alt coin exchange to replace MtGox with. They are all promising that they will be running things the right way and not be anything like what MtGox did and perpetrated against their own customers. They're promising that if you become their customer that you will have a much better alt coin exchange experience with them. It will be good to see just how they will be accommodating their new alt coin exchange customers in order to gain back alt coin exchange customers trust in general. The new customers need to be given the chance to try out how well the new alt coin exchange service runs, it needs to be put to the test. That will be one of the primary ways to find out if they can be trusted to do the right thing in the short term and over the long run. I have been reading about how to earn Devcoins by writing for Devtome and will want to be able to deposit any Devcoins that I earn into an exchange that I can trust for safe keeping. So I'm going to be searching for a reputable trust worthy alt coin exchange that I can trust to deposit Devcoins and other alt coins too. In order for a new alt coin exchanges new customers to be willing to deposit and transact in higher amounts of alt coins through their exchange, they need to first build up the customers trust. After which the customers would be able to feel more safe and secure to do so. The alt coin exchange needs to be run right from the day it opens and thereafter in order for the customers to be happy with the alt coin exchanges service. Customers rightfully expect that any of the the transactions that they are a part of with the exchange are being handled correctly, such as within a reasonable amount of time. It's recommended to regularly check into your new alt coin exchange accounts to ensure that everything is running and working out from day to day. If the alt coin exchange is being run well and the customers are happy doing business there, then the exchange and the customers will both prosper together.

Well coinwarz has a Devcoin chat which you can find at http://www.coinwarz.com/exchange-charts/devcoin-exchange-rate-chart. According to that chat, one Devcoin is going for about 0.00000038 BTC. Another site i have found seems to be floating more around 0.00000025 so all in all somewhere around there. Hope that helps, come follow us on twitter for now until the main site is up! twitter.com/onecrypto facebook.com/onecrypto

We agree entirely, the days of faceless sites that haven't had any relevant content updated in months or are run by people who are, lets just say not up to the job, are over. They do not contribute to the positive progression of crypto-currencies which at OneCrypto is our ultimate aim. Do you know of any crypto games out there to play ?
We can think of a few crypto games actually. Try www.dicenow.com to roll the dice using both Bitcoin and Litecoin, also you can try www.satoshiroulette.com if roulette is more you kind of thing. I would however advise being careful playing those kinds of gambling games, although you were looking for a crypto game indeed. So that being said I would defiantly suggest playing those games over something like hide and seek with Mt Gox :/ Good Luck! OneCrypto

What are the basic start up costs for mining alt coins, what types of alt coins do you recommend to mine, and can we use our own PC and add on mining equipment or do we have to buy all new components to get a decent system set up for mining alt coins ? I've read somewhere about mining pools, where groups of miners work together and share in the mining costs and profits. How does all of that get coordinated, so that all of the individual mining work gets added into that particular pool ? If the initial investment is too high for a beginner, do you recommend buying some mining shares at an amount that we can afford first, wait, save up the alt coins that build up with the investment shares, and then use those profits towards investing in a full alt coin mining system. Are you going to offer that kind of service too for those of us who are new to this part of working with alt coins. Would you agree that a beginner to alt coin mining might be better off starting off by investing in mining shares, in order to get the right kind of and enough exposure to alt coin mining in general and the more advanced levels too, before they invest in a full alt coin mining systems components and equipment ? I joined this forum because of my interest in Devtome, where you can earn devcoins by writing some good articles there. I'm also finding alot of valuable info on alt coins in general at this Bitcoin forum too. Which is very helpful with all that's been going on lately with alt coins. I really hope that the value of Bitcoins, Litecoins and Devcoins goes way up and stays there, so that all of our investments in them can be rewarded. sedgwyck

Hi everyone, SHORT VERSION ---> http://qoinpro.com/8cc0bd21f690f823378ddc8ca00e1360 <--- AUTOMATIC FAUCET FOR BITCOIN, LITECOIN, EARTHCOIN, etc. *** LONGER VERSION*** I have a few accs on bitcointalk hence why there are just a few posts (this is my permanent one now). Anyways I have some various cryptos and thought I would post this great faucet/cryptocurrency promotion company (basically what it is) on this thread. I just found this website and it is an auto-faucet basically that does good for cryptocurrencies by getting them in the hands of many new people. The faucet pays bitcoin, litecoin, earthcoin and 2 other cryptocurrencies AUTOMATICALLY EVERY DAY. ***I am posting this here because right now the company is making almost 0 profit and is backed by private investors whose goal is to proliferate the use of cryptocurrency!***The site is available through the link below, it is the best faucet I have found. The current daily faucet payout is equivalent to about 250sat/day and you get 1500~satoshi just for signing up with an email.Payouts are AUTOMATIC each day - set it and forget it!LINK: http://qoinpro.com/8cc0bd21f690f823378ddc8ca00e1360

What can i do at welovecryptocoins.com? At welovecryptocoins.com you can upload a picture and a link to your homepage. This is a very easy, fast, and cheap way to generate traffic for your service, new cryptocoin, start-up, or anything else in the area of CryptoCoins. What do I need the cryptocoins for? First of all, I will use the cryptocoins collected on this website in order to pay the tuition fees for a degree in Digital Currencies at the University of Nicosia (this is the first uni that accepts bitcoins as a means of payment). In addition to that, I will attend various conferences about digital currencies all over the world and I will use the cryptocoins to cover my tickets and travel expenses. FAQ: http://welovecryptocoins.com/faq.php Website: http://welovecryptocoins.com/Currently accepts: ANC, AUR, BTC, CAT, CGB, FTC, DOGE, EXE, FTC, IFC, LTC, MEOW, MOON, MZC, NMC, NET, POT, PPC, QRK, SPA, UTC, VTC, WDC, ZET and 42

Darkbids, Darkcoin Auction and Market.- https://Darkbids.comDarkbids is a place to buy and sell items for Darkcoin. On Darkbids you can post auctions and sell inventory items for DRK (got t-shirts?). The only currency used on Darkbids is Darkcoin. Make some extra DRK by auctioning your unneeded items on Darkbids.

Hey BitJohn, is there any news on making the Fiat system quicker on Cryptsy? Waiting for a check to deposit is kind of slow. Imagine if the stock market was like that...lol

I'm not seeing many stores that support devcoin, any particular reason? Saying this because there is a big amount of devcoins on hold just because there just so little to make with it. Altcoin stores will help a lot for the good of everyone.

Great thread and resource. It it nice seeing how we can actually use our Bitcoins for things other than investment vehicles. I wonder if a Forex broker that accepts Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals qualifies? I work with Trader's Way and have posted this thread in the Service Announcements. For some details regarding the company you can see this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=785011.0The link to our website is below my name to the left. Hopefully we can be added to your list Let me know, Joe

what's the deal with coin payments, is it back, coming back, what's the deal ? This may be due to severe lack of interest in actually spending the coins Einsteinium. I opened recently and there was plenty of requests for merchants who accept, but I have yet to find an altcoin community that actually wants to support a merchant. Now Im sure that my marketing skills could use honing, and it's not the slickest site in the world, but for the effort which was put forth, the key members of these communities should have at least made some sort of effort to act as a catalyst for the coins to be used for real commerce. Doge is likely the spendable coin, but even soft. In my opinion, Bitcoin and all of it's descendants are steadily declining due to the fact that they have become something to hord as opposed to an alternative currency. I entered the community for strictly political reasons of hatred for the global money monopoly, and see Bitcoin as perhaps the most effective weapon against the system. The greed and corruption seen in these altcoin threads is enough to effectively diminish coins as a serious undertaking.

A while back, I tried adding smartcoin SMC to the list of coins in the vote list at coinpayments.net
but after I had filled out the form, smartcoin was not showing in the list of coins to vote for.

A while back, I tried adding smartcoin SMC to the list of coins in the vote list at coinpayments.net
but after I had filled out the form, smartcoin was not showing in the list of coins to vote for.
Smartcoin needs a payment processor.
Yes Smartcoin is a good coin. I mined it way back in February and march. Nice to see it alive and well.

Is there a list of these payment processors for altcoins? I've seen one on the op but I know there are others. Does anyone have a lost of most of them?

Hello All, I am looking for Developer / Programmer to review, audit, and fix any issues in the code for RAW Coin so it can be brought back online with Bittrex, and if possible, going forward doing work as needed on something of a 'contract' basis, where I would pay you with BTC or RAW as your work was needed. I am taking over and doing many exciting things with RAW, as an alt coin, it already offers something many coins do not, go check out the thread and get an idea of what I am speaking of.... I need someone reputable, who is willing to do this for me, to respond with a PM ASAP. I will be generous with my RAW bounty for any Dev willing to commit to working with me for the intermediate term. I would prefer to pay in RAW, (Enough to qualify you for the monthly 'Club #RawMetals packages), but I have BTC also. Apparently there have been 'forks' in the code that needs to be addressed. Here is what the person from Bittrex wrote, "The wallet has at least 3 forks and we can't keep the blockchain in sync. We have disabled it until this is fixed. There is no way for us to send coins off because we don't know which fork its on at this point." How can we fix this? I also have a block explorer, rich list, etc already created here ---> http://altcoinguys.blockexperts.com/rawIf anyone has any interest in becoming a more permanent basis Dev, I am open for that as well, but I am happy to pay you behind the scenes so you do not have to deal with the community constantly wanting updates, etc. Thanks and let me know , ATX Silver

great list! I hope you keep this updated I had no idea alt coins could be used at this many places, thought only bitcoin was accepted and the others simply traded on exchange only. very many people think as you think, and that's because as soon as an alt gets on an exchange the developers strike gold and finally paid for long months of hard work. Instead of them taking the coin to the next level (utility) they rather go back to what they know best and just start coding a new coin with a different twist. A cryptocurrency is not a true currency if it isn't used as a currency, if it is only, or primarily, traded on exchanges that would make it a commodity not a currency.

I created a CLAM service: http://clamspeech.comIt is nothing special, just a different kind of blockexplorer. The idea is that if you have something interesting to tell (think of free speech, or advertising), you send a CLAM speech message to my address. If you have something important to say, pay more CLAM and it will be displayed first, when sorted by amount. But you can sort it by date as well, to see the latest messages. Unlike a general blockexplorer, it shows specifically all CLAM speech messages of only one address. Money sent to this address will be used to improve the website and pay the hosting. No additional ads are planned. This is a very early proof-of-concept preview to test all the software. Sometimes the update thread crashes and I plan to add more features, like last highest amounts for the last 24 hours. Currently it is all-time highest amounts only, and limited to the highest 100 entries without pagination. Other planned features are linkifying URLs and adding images in a message via imgur, or adding a nice GUI for CLAMour and automatic update without manual page refresh. When all features are implemented, the address will change once with a nicer vanitygen address. If you don't have the Qt CLAM client installed, you can transfer some CLAM to just-dice.com and then use "withdraw" and enter your message in the CLAMspeech field. If you have only bitcoins or other ALT-coins, you can use shapeshift.io to convert and transfer it to just-dice. Unfortunately currently you can't enter CLAMspeech with Shapeshift directly, or if you transfer it from Poloniex, but I've contacted both websites to add this feature. Feel free to write to the support of your favorite exchange as well to add CLAMspeech for withdrawing, which is not only useful for my service, but for free speech in general. LLTGC!

The official WAVES Lite Client is now available on one of my websites, if you don't want to download it from Github or can't install the Chrome plugin: https://wavesclient.netThis is not an official WAVES team website, but it is the original client (except for the additional banner on the login page, contact me if you want to advertise) and no plugin installation needed. All data is saved locally on your PC, so it is safe. I tested it on Linux and Windows Chrome and works perfectly. It doesn't work on iPad: you can login (both with pre-installed Safari and Chrome from App store), but it doesn't show the block count and your WAVE amount, I guess the WAVES devs are still working on it.

Thanks for this great collection. I currently accept Doge, Litecoin and Ether (Ether still manual payments) and am looking for a way to accept more variety of alt-coin payments. The store is still a bit under construction with the products, though we have Free Shipping and currently 15% discount for crypto payments: http://hardsyncapparel.com/
Any comments/what ppl would like to see are always appreciated.

OP, do you still add new entries into this fine collection? Should I try to submit via the form later or simply post here? I am asking it because I tried to submit my store via the Submit form and it took me to a page where it said that service was temporarily unavailable and I did not see that you put any of the entries above in the recent posts into the collection. I can totally understand if you are occupied, though, just let me know please!

LLTGC! this could be very good, yeah? how or from where is the conversion rate used to value BTC?

Great list of services that accept altcoins. Is the listing for domain sites only? Do you accept bitcointalk.org thread as listing? How about altcoin faucets?

Altcoin faucet is not accpeted here, only online stores and services like hosting, that is acceptable. And only domain sites, no other third party apps or blog sites.

Right because it is almost 4 years ago and OP is not active anymore since last year so it is impossible to edit and update the first page. Well we can still post new alt coin stores and services here that will be managed by a high rank trusted member.

What about stores/sites that do not accept Bitcoin, but accepts an alt coin? i'm asking this because i'm aware of some of them down here in Nigeria West Africa. This thread is to promote actual stores and people who sell services for ALTcoins.
*Some sites may charge a premium for the risk they incur in trading for alternative currency Caveat emptor
The Rules to stay listed: - Store has to sell something whether it be a good or service (such as hosting). - Store must accept at least one Alternative cryptocurrency cannot just be BTC

Do anybody give me suggestion that, which Altcoin is going to be next bitcoin. Mostly want to know that's value should be under $5 per coin. There's no way to identify on these days what will be the next bitcoin. As everyone is always depending to bitcoin and alt coins will be always alt coins. With your demand of under $5 coin, I don't think that is going to beat bitcoin in terms of popularity and market value.

I am having a discussion on the mechanics of a coin called AIRcoin, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=476383.msg19937375#msg19937375 It failed for various reasons, but is being rebuilt w/ the originally promised features in the first test run. Did you like the premise of the coin? What about it struck/strikes you as odd?

Hi everyone OK I'm not selling but I want to buy, have anybody heard about marketmaker escrow service? That is when you give some amount from ICO to the market exchange and it regulates the price of your coin. As far as I understand that's a part of the smart contract and it a program bot or some kind. So where can I find who does this services?
