As the team want to make their project great, I'm pretty much sure that they will burn all unsold tokens

This is not a Team decision but the decision taken from the voting results.
Voting result:
Distribute: 1481
Burn: 1432
Thus, 16.067.250 SPN tokens will be distributed proportionally to Pre-sale contributors

it's really worth checking back the token because until now the distribution of tokens still has not happened ....

We cannot legally comment on exchanges at this time. SPN is not on any exchange right now. Anything claiming otherwise is a scam.

Moreover there is a second token sale phase in Q3 of this year, so you should read carefully all informations before investing.
Sapien is long term investment

When adding the SPN token from Ethplorer there are 2 SPN tokens I have added the wrong one which could be why I’m not seeing SPN in MEW??

20041 ETH have been raised in the pre-sale (as of 8:00 UTC - 2/15/18). Over the next few weeks the Sapien team is letting people who signed up before the end of the sale who experienced technical difficulties or had KYC pending contribute.
