Nice to have this kind of prediction but keep in mind that the bear market will resist!!

If you're still bullish on $10000 for the Ethereum price, it's still rational,
because an increase of 100% more is also common in the crypto currency world,
so I'm not surprised if Ethereum will be above $9000 or to be precise at $1000,
yes I still held some ethereum when I bought it at $2000 yesterday.

I am wondering if this is not a very exaggerated price forecast, for example for ETH to reach $10.000 the price of ETH in relation to BTC would have to be 0.15BTC and the price of bitcoin would have to be $66000. these are two very difficult conditions to have, in the case of bitcoin it may still be possible to reach $66000, but in the case of ETH it will be difficult to have a price of 0.15BTC in relation to bitcoin, the only way perhaps ETH can reach  $10,000 would be if the bitcoin price was $120,000

I like how you think, if only markets were this predictable everyone would have invested their life savings into crypto but unfortunately this all depends on who wants the crypto more (demand)!

I could be wrong maybe this is the holy grail of predicting crypto price and ensuring true believers hold longer and wait for the right time.

At the moment he would not trust me at all, because according to an article where an ETH analyst predicted that according to the ETH chart figure it gives a "bearish wedge" which leads to a bullish trap:

I think that for now due to the high uncertainty of the market, especially for BTC many expect a fall, it is preferable to have restraint when trading ETH, of course, the ETH bulls will manage or try to maintain the price at acceptable levels that it does not go down too much.

If you follow the uptrend from Ethereum chart 📈 from January 2017 till now, you will see that ethereum as done nothing less than x110 of its current value as at 1st February 2017.

However, should ethereum repeat this feet in 2018 then it will be $132000/eth in twenty 2019.

Calculation:
1st February, 2017
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $11

10th January, 2018
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $1200

$1200/$11 = x109.091

If continue this uptrend in 2018 of which as started already and return another x109.091 by January, 2019. Price/ETH will be $132000/ETH.

I think if happened last year, it can happen this year, buy at least 1 ethereum and hold.

This is an old thread but as you've seen it just doesn't do this.  Bitcoin went from $1 to $50000.  That doesn't mean bitcoin will go 50,000x from here.  People have to stop making these crazy assumptions it just doesn't work like that.

$5k is easy because we already had seen ETH reach a new ATH of $4k+.. so it's just another $1k increase for a new ATH of your target. I guess we should be more aggressive with the price prediction as to when the market is bullish, no price ceiling should limit as long as it's realistic, and I think $10k is very realistic and could possibly achieve this year.

that by the end of this year we should hit $5,000 and by July 2022 we should hit $10,000. Of course it's just an opinion, what will happen only time will tell.

No, the potential were big talks when they launched and their claim was that it will be the best scaling solution they have in the market and there will not be any issue because it can scale massively and now they are struggling and the transaction fees are through the roof. The understand they are migrating and there are big upgrades planned, if they fail then we might even see a disaster in the making .

agree with you that we must admit it is very difficult to predict crypto but we can know the steps from past predictions that have been made, at least we have a foothold to analyze better to determine what we will do from the experience.

I think it takes hard work to fix the problems that may have been experienced so far at a high cost, they are trying to launch a new system with the aim that it will be a solution that can be updated. but it is not easy because it takes hard work for it to be achieved properly and quickly. agree that it is necessary to understand what is being done and hope that there will be improvements but it is not as easy as expected because it takes potential from them to be able to resolve all past problems immediately, hopefully what you say becomes a disaster will not happen.

I never believe that ethereum will not reach almost 4k$ before but it happen it is now 3,913$ at price. So 10k$ is possible to reach but it takes a lot of year or a decade before this could happen. Price is still depend on bitcoin if Bitcoin fall it will surely fall but if Bitcoin rise eth will surely also rise.

Depends how long this market cycle is. If we have the longest bullrun in history, maybe. Otherwise i guess 5k is already a strech and the next step is 10k by next January 2022 unless something terrible happens. If not I guess I'll be stuck holding the bags for a couple years and eat my words.

I agree on that holding ethereum can give you a huge profit, it is a little bit risky to buy right now because of the price is so high but of we don't take the risk we cannot earn, CZ says if we can't hold we can't be a millionaire, so holding is important we need to hold if ethereum reach almost 4k$ it has a chances that it will reach 10k$ in the near future.
