Hi that is my IP and I also installed malwarebytes to see what is going on. As i understand it sees my cgminer as PUP.cgminer. I think you should delete this "antivirus" because it considers that miners are bad Wink.
Anyone knows why DPS qt does not sync? Is this coin still alive?

You may need to put some addnodes into your dollarpounds.conf file
try
addnode=177.49.67.160
addnode=217.159.160.109
addnode=198.199.100.216

New Client ready for download, with added checkpoints.

There was a fork, but the checkpoint in the new client will sort it.

The other fixes include, the annoying dollar-pound sign being sliced at the top and bottom  Grin Tongue

Splash screen thingy should now be working as intended.   Roll Eyes

it still seems to be heavy on CPU usage.  I will do more research and hopefully have another Win QT in a few days.

I had the same problem with the old version, it would constantly generate stake to the point I thought it was broken.
Thanks for your work!

It will defo take some figuring out.

In the mean time any dwarfers with this issue could try adding these 2 lines to the .conf file in the roaming folder.

reservebalance=1000000
genproclimit=1

Whether it works or not who knows? But I learned these 2 from reading other threads with the same issue on other coins.  And I think mogrith suggested it too.

Will old client still work? I just made pool and wallets are old client version.

For my desktop I will want to switch to less CPU intensive version. But the current one is not overloading the pool and extra POS added is nice.

Yes, it's just a few little issues cleaned and checkpoints added to avoid any major fork.   Cool  so no need to update if you dunna want to.

I lost over 190,000 DPS as when the new DPS revival happened,  I had some major power cuts and for some reason after I got the lecky back I could not connect at all, even after adding the nodes. I had no peers for days, I left it for a while and after that it had already gone back about 20,000 blocks and people were reconnected on the new chain.

I synced upto the new chain and had only 7600 left.  I Think I was the only one mining it for a while a few weeks before the revival connected to 2 headless clients somewhere.  The power cuts really screwed me over.

one of those headless servers is mine, i setup a amazo ec2 so there would always be atleast one client on at all time.  And i know how you feal i lost 20,000 when i resalvaged my wallet after the last fork.

j

p.s. that reminds i should probably check that server and see what its mined, its been going for a month or 2 now.
