If their reason for being corrupt is becuse they dont have much, bitcoin somehow can. But for those greedy who have no satisfaction no matter how much they earn or no matter how huge income they generate they will still long for more. There is no cure for such attitude.

Now that governments have a competitor in terms of currencies, do you think that they will make an effort to make the economic system more transparent or will they just try to ban everything?
Government wants money from the people through tax. Government officials are like whales, always wanted something to put in their pockets. Many are corrupt officials in the government who are controlling the economy and banks. The existence of Bitcoin is a good thing because it is decentralized, you can also make huge profit without deducting anything from it. However, this makes the government officials mad and threathen and now, they are doing everything to ban bitcoin.

I think its not, because bitcoin has not something to do with the corruption. Since bribery is a form of attitude and authority-based, bitcoin must likely an answer to the poverty.

I dont think bitcoin can reduce corruption because bitcoin is not connected to government as we all know that corruption begins with government officials.

You've just answered your own question, they will ban it. Look at the countries china, korea and india. When they feel threated that their competition is gaining growth and popularity to their own people. I dont think btc will change how our current monetary system works but atleast we will have an alternative way to use our own money freely without getting oppressed or being track by our governments.

Before legalizing, the government would undertake a pre-assessment, more profit or loss to the state if the bitcoin is legalized. Bitcoin is one currency that is very high value, if it is legalized it will automatically attract many devotees and make the country's currency is rivaled. Moreover, if a country has a high level of corruption cases, then bitcoin is used as a smuggling place, or other illegal activities that are detrimental to the state, the government also can not interfere with any transactions in it, I think the government will obviously ban the bitcoin in the country.

Yes l believe that bitcoin will reduce corruption because bitcoin gives income to all interested in bitcoin. Just work and bitcoin and have a salary. Not only a salary but a profit that will multiply bring our way to earn a big amount of money. So l think rich people in the world will be interested to invest their money on bitcoin. The political person will get interest also for the profit because you can earn million.

Bitcoin is a digital currency. Bitcoin can be used through internet.I think bitcoin is not able to reduce corruption because it is not related to government. In many countries, bitcoin is banned. It can be used in criminal activities. But I think not in corruption. If anybody wants so,they can do so.Because, bitcoin can be used through Internet hiding self identity.

I read some news which explain that some governments are embrace bitcoin and blockchain technology. In my opinion, they can't ignore bitcoin, bitcoin provide transparency of transactions so I think if countrys fund is in form of cryptocurrency then it will make people hard to currupt it. bitcoin don't need adapt to world conditions but the world should adapt to bitcoin.

Bitcoin can reduce corruption if developed, I think Blockchain system is the best in technology related to the world economy and transactions.
I think corruption is done by the people who takes responsibility to run a country. A corrupt government is the reflex of a corrupt people. What Bitcoin can do, is to give honest people the opportunity to live "out of the system", so they don't need to fund the corrupt system where they live, because they don't need necessarily to use the country's official currency.

When you look at system blockchain then you can mention that transactions made using Bitcoin will be very transparent because we can see any funds available in each Bitcoin addres owned. But the problem is that everyone is free to make a wallet, this is what makes everyone free to have many addresses Bitcoin, even up to thousands of addresses. So I think that Bitcoin still can not be said as a system that can reduce corruption.

There should be improvements as well as a regulation that can set everyone to register every address they have, especially government officials so that every transaction can be tracked. this may still be very long because of the need for integration of all systems, we all also have to keep trying because the implementation of Bitcoin system is quite difficult if not supported by various aspects such as government, agencies, companies and of course we all as Bitcoin users.

I think bitcoin can't reduce corruption because it has been the ultimate problem of the society these days. It is the most common reason of poverty and lots of society's problem nowadays. Bitcoin has been doing great in the economy since it is helping most of the users to have a sustainable life but it can't reduce corruption because bitcoin involves money.

There is corruption in Bitcoin, often time by corrupt people in government and other power places. They control the media to a great extend, their voices are heard, their fuds are heard and affect the markets.

How? Bitcoin is an anonymous platform where users don`t need to enter any data about themselves, which means that its impossible at the moment. I think bitcoin was created for the sake of this so that no one can track users, so that`s why bitcoin got such popularity and demand. So in any way bitcoin can`t reduce corruption, neither at the moment, not in future, unless creators will do something about it.

Of course they will just ban everything especially bitcoin because they will be threaten from it because you know people will choose bitcoin over currency of certain country because they know that bitcoin has much more value than their currency. And I think if government use bitcoin they will not let people see what they are doing so I oppose to your opinion that economic system will be more transparent because you know that transaction in bitcoin, media can't cover it.

It can really help to reduce the corruption because the people can just ask for the bitcoin address of the government officials and from that thing they can easily monitor the transactions of all the addresses and they can tell if there is something bad in the bitcoin address of the officials or not. So because of the transparency the corruption will not be existing anymore.

No. It will just increase corruption. With all the advance technology we have right now, hacking your bitcoing is so very easy. They will just get from your account without knowing it. They can also do some tricks for them to gain more coins.

I agree, the government will totally do anything just to get hold of something they know that has a potential for them to make their pockets heavier. They may not have power and control over bitcoin now but if people continue to put attention to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, I am sure that they will do something about it eventually. No one knows when bitcoin will be fully utilized as a currency for our every financial needs but the popularity of these coins continue to grow.

You are right that if ever the government also adopted and use bitcoin, their faults and everything they do in terms of financial matters will become more invisible to us. They could easily deny every financial issues since tracks or evidences using cannot be easily trace.

If a country is corrupt, most probably a ban. But with the proper knowledge, they can hide their hidden wealth in multiple addresses. Until they know how to fool the system, most probably they will pend bitcoin.

I think bitcoin can reduce corruption because the poor can get rich with bitcoin. usually people who are corrupt are people who really need money to buy something very important, so all human needs can be fulfilled by working on bitcoin.
corruption never tied to the needs of poor, but corruption caused poverty (poor)

If their reason for being corrupt is becuse they dont have much, bitcoin somehow can. But for those greedy who have no satisfaction no matter how much they earn or no matter how huge income they generate they will still long for more. There is no cure for such attitude.
exactly, the root of corruption is greed. there is no cure for that except self-control and responsibility
corruption usually a by-product of official government powers,
those who hold that power should use it responsibly for the mass people's prosperity
but the fact, human nature happens... greed... selfish... vanity... corruption happens
