I think a bitcoin award ceremony once a year for different categories such as "best new bitcoin business" etc would be a cool idea based on http://www.podcastawards.com/ It could be the academy awards of digital currencies.  Maybe with prizes donated by sponsors ? What are some of the categories that would be appropriate? |

Wow, I had a post started (but not published) this weekend about this exact topic. I think this is a fun idea. I couldn't come up with a name I liked, the closest I came was "the bit-purlatives" (which is god awful). I was going to suggest the category of funniest person on the forum and nominate Bitcoin Porn. Best bitcoin podcast/show. Best bitcoin-only business.
