Hi Guys

How can I set the GWEI price in MEW higher than 99?

And then Ive got an other question: When I participate in a ICO where it starts for example at 12.00. It is very popular and I need to be fast with a high gas price. Is it possible to start the transaction before 12.00 - lets say at 11.55 and the ethers will arrive at 12.01. Will it be successfu or rejected?

Poxelles, why do you need to set the GWEI price higher than 99!! You can use ethgasstation to estimate the gas price. For example, if you currently set the GWEI price at 38, then you will get your transaction confirmed within 5 minutes, which as per your needs is sufficient. But if you still want to set a higher price than 99, then you can install the Metamask addon in your browser and enter the amount according to your wish.

Recently I had set the GWEI at 68 and it went through fast , for a transaction of 30 usd I paid around 6 usd , making it 24 usd . This is way  too much at such price of ether . In this case btc is better however as someone has discussed , the "pushing" factor can be considered as centralisation making it less efficient for the world as people with low balance will not tend to buy or pay high fee .

You can use https://ethgasstation.info/ to estimate gas price.
Recommended gas for now (as I typing) is 50 gwei (fast) transaction speed is under 2 minutes.
