NEO is less cost effective in mining than Ether and also the network congestion is not worse than Ether which will take you hours to send a transaction. if 2017 was Ether ,2018 is NEO

NEO is difficult to call a competitor to ETH. There is still lower confidence because NEO is too centralized. But on technology it is very good and perhaps even better than ETH. The time will show.

NEO is the Chinese version of ETH. As China puts more restrictions on cryptocurrency, NEO should go up since they shouldn't be putting any on NEO. Additionally, NEO doesn't have any network congestion.

Like other said, NEO seems to have really good tech and everything so far but the Chinese part is what worries me.

Here's hoping they don't put a lot of restrictions on it. But I mean, if they do, it will just be the inferior (chinese) ETH then.

Even if ethereum is seen best alternative to bitcoin and has good aspects, Neo will suprise everyone I think this year. It has China behind it and it is free of fee and this makes neo so advantageous compared to other tradeable coins. People will get more interested in this year with neo.

Every altcoin does have a surprising increase so they are speculating that it will be the next big thing. I have nothing against with NEO but if it's price keep on moving positively and it's development is positive even though there are times that it will be down to make the market balance. Whether it will be next ETH or not, NEO is NEO and it is unique.

We can not take into account the point of rivalry, both have their qualities and both have their defects to be corrected, i am an investor on these two fronts, the reason why NEO can grow exponentially is that it has its own Blockchain as well as Ethereum has a promising future.

ETH rise was fast and furious. So now its NEO's turn for crazy movements. I will transfer some of my investments to NEO this week.
