It has indeed both cons an pro's.....
The quality of bounty hunters would sure increase, having real and smarter people doing the bounties. In stead of "nice project" "this is good" "when token?"
But it is not the essention of crypto, that was basicly set on privacy.
I think the opposite. The quality of bounty hunters would sure decrease. Do you think that someone who does not mind giving their personal data to participate in an airdrop is smart? I don't think so.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.
I don't like it. But as long as you make this clear from the very beginning, I have nothing to complain. What I hate the most is they ask for KYC when the bounty campaign is over.

Personally, I support KYC for the bounty of participants, as this will reduce the number of multi-accounts, but only if the project is popular and there are serious and responsible team who can be trusted. Otherwise, I would not want to provide my personal details.

Stay away from any ICO that is requesting your identity details unless they are quite obvious NOT a scam. Some of these scam ICOs might simply be harvesting and reselling KYC information to other companies, or even worse, using your identity for illegal purposes. For the most part, most ICOs I've seen don't require KYC below a certain investment amount, so just stick with that.

That's a very bad idea. Cryptocurrency was created, as an anonymous means of payment. Showing identity documents, we violate one of the basic principles of cryptocurrency.

Very much needed KYC for bounty or airdrop campaign participants. Especially for airdrop I really hope that KYC can be applied as soon as possible. The goal is that there is no cheating in a campaign. Cleaning some cheats will be better

There is definitely no need to do kyc for bounty Hunter in any campaign. Bounty hunter are not buying ICO they are simply promoting and their token should be categorized as reward.

There are alot of participants and we don't know if some of them do the multiple account and we didn't know who did the multiple account in one campaign so I also agree in KYC to avoid those multiple account users in just one campaign.

I consider this KYC process to be completely criminal. Because this is the transfer of personal data, and then where are the personal data leaked, who ever thought about it? I've seen and seen a lot of data leaks from companies that deal with KYC

I think there are only few of the ico project are implementing this one, but in my opinion it can't be helpful to participants/bounty hunters. Because ti is still many of the ico giving their allocation budget distribution to all their participants without their KYC.

Why are we even considering KYC for bounties? I get it its to stop the cheaters, but there are lots of other ways to control this. This KYC thing on crypto is very absurd, reason why we are all gathered here its because we love the idea of being anonymous. We shouldn't encourage nor allow this process it is downright an insult to bitcoin and the cryptocommunity.

It's not to stop cheaters. It's to collect and sell data.

I strongly disagree with that, because I am afraid my personal info will be abused by KYC holders. I'd rather not follow a bounty if the requested condition is required to fill in KYC.

I am totally agree, but the problem now is that KYC is announced after ico is finished. The work is done and nobody wants to lost it

This is really disgusting. Before they should start their bounty campaign, they should state and claim that they need KYC on every bounty campaign participants in order to clear out or inform those members to think twice before the application for the KYC. In my personal opinion, if they really need KYC then I'll give them an edited information of mine using Photoshop.

KYC is basically required to know customer or buyer to prevent crime and that is really healthy for cryptocurrency market. All must follow KYC because it makes the future of cryptocurrency strong. But people participating in bounty campaigns are receiving reward for their hardwork, so KYC shouldn't be mandatory for bounty hunter.
