Im cleaning my hard disk storage and I saw some of my crypto wallets lying around so I decided to compiled it and will transferred to separate drive. I encountered this wallet but I can't remember where I got this. (Since it's out of sync, maybe it's dead now?).

Care to reference the coin? Nobody can help you if we don't know which blockchain you are referring to...

Indeed, as far as I understand this coin is NEO now. I'm not sure if it's possible to exchange them, but if it's possible then you are rich.

That's why Im asking since Im not familiar with that. I don't have an idea where I got this so maybe someone here got this wallet too in the past.

If screenshot is not enough then it's fine if I can't get any answer.

Well the QT client has no active connection to Antcoin Network.

The address listed on that wallet is recognized by Antshares/NEO blockchain. Im trying to find the original thread where I saw that wallet so that I can linked if it's really can be linked to the NEO.

Maybe there are still some way that you can recover those old coins. Or if there are still any websites that trades that crypto wallet you have and maybe they just moved to another website that might be their former platform.

I found this old thread about an antcoin, but it's in Chinese. You have to use google translate to read it. However, it might be a different antcoin to the one the OP has.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=379338.0

This is a google translated quote from it that includes a wallet download link. Unfortunately I don't know whether that link is safe or not.

Quote
Official Website: http://www.antcoin.org

QQ group: 333139792

Wallet download address: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1c0wz0sw

One of the posts in that thread says it's a scam.

This is a scam!

I mining 3.000.000+ ANT today, but they have updated the wallet, remove all chain blocks and silent and not talk about it to people.
Old wallet does not work. And now I do not have 3.000.000+ ANT
I'm not the only one who has been cheated

There's another antcoin thread in English with a different baidu link to a wallet download, and a different website link.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1408077.0

There aren't many posts in either threads so they might have been scam attempts.

As far as I know the time for converting your coins is long gone so they are pretty much worthless right now, unless there's some kind of a magical way to do it that nobody ever heard about

Most of the devs that do swaps put a time limit on them. It's always frustrating watching a coin soaring in value while knowing you missed out on the swap to it.
