In my own opinion, bitcoins is in a good pace as of today and the price is already at $7k dollars so we can expect a higher price even more in the future.

In my own opinion, 2018 is not the most crucial year for bitcoins because most of the countries today has been legalized to invest on cryptocurrency, that is the reason that it can actually grow even more before the year ends.

And you easily believe that? I mean, please look at the market first, if you look at the price of bitcoin right now the price is at $7.3k and obviously far away from $50k lol. The price is not even hit $10k right now, no way the bitcoin price can hit $50k with only 4 months left until the end of the year.

i like the way that bitcoin's price is stable at the moment and not suddenly go up or down, but i don't think that's gonna last long. But one thing for sure is bitcoin will be at least 10.000$ in December 2018.

Even if this year does not bring much bull runs and may not cross all time high, the important thing is that it has kept 6500- 7000$ stable price for most of the year and the real time usage of bitcoin also increases. Also many new people are introduced to bitcoins and we may many big exchanges and market like NASDAQ in the pipeline. People are thinking of bitcoin ETF approval and all these things will make 2019 a very big year for Bitcoin. 2018 is also big in the sense as it serves as a  foundation for the coming years for bitcoins.

If the price can go back to $19k this year. maybe this year will be the most critical year. because in 1 year the price can drop very deep to more than 60% and if the price can recover again. of course it will carve a new history where the price can recover more than 60% in 1 year
