RaiBlocks Might Replace Bitcoin One Day

Bitcoin is now the most famous cryptocurrency for standart p2p payment system. But I think raiblocks will take over one day. The reasons of why I think of this are this :

- Raiblocks offers 5000+ transaction per seconds meanwhile bitcoin with just 2 transaction per seconds (if I'm not mistaken).
- Fee is kinda annoying, with bitcoin as payment you will have to pay more than 8$ per transaction on average. And even with 8$, it's still low. The transaction will more likely come through after hours of time and in the worst scenarios, days / stuck forever in the Limbo. Which is really bad.
 In the other hands, with raiblocks you don't have to pay for any fees and the transaction will come through within seconds. Sweet huh.

So, any thoughts on this guys? do you agree that raiblocks will replace bitcoin one day? Personally, I think it's possible and will likely to happen once people aware of this. Raiblocks currently sitting on $19 and this is still cheap I think.

I don't believe that RailBlocks could surpass Bitcoin's market value, never, even top Altcoins today.
Ethereum had surged but Bitcoin is surging as well.
That's why I'm totally confident that Bitcoin will surge more and bring up Ethereum and RailBlocks together and other top Altcoins as well.

Raiblocks is good especially when it comes to transaction fees and transfer time but to be honest with you it will never be able to take over BTC. For that matter any Altcoin because BTC is the base for all transactions and the fundamental trading platform for Crypto. Altcoins might come close to first 5 or 10 due to their price and volume however they cannot rule out BTC completely for sure.

With the new LN coming into play, things would look different for BTC in the upcoming days for sure.

It may take a while before any coin/platform surpasses even Ethereum.
Once this happens, only then can a coin be a contender to surpass Bitcoin.

Other projects like Zilliqa is also attempting to solve the blockchain issues of today.
We'll see in the near future who will be the winners.

Well, what makes XRB special than any other cryptocurrencies, I believe most of them are the same. They all offer a "better than BItcoin" branding while the only use of the coins is has a fast transaction.

I'm sure both problems that Bitcoin currently have will be solved in the near future. More and more people now are more aware of the Segwit Wallets, and the segwit wallets are proved to reduce the time and the fees of the transaction. And don't forget the lightning network is getting close to being implemented.

While raiblocks brings some interesting ideas, no, it won't replace Bitcoin. There are already many better altcoins than Raiblocks and even those cannot really compete yet with Bitcoin.
And only the transaction speed and fee are by far not enough to make a coin competitive. There are plenty of coins with very fast transaction times and low and zero fees.
Also, Bitcoin has some bad news for those coming up with only these features: Lightning network is in process of getting deployed.
