Of course No. because telegram is not related to bring ICO’s in success.
In fact telegram is perfectly created and use for the communication process and purpose only, And it is not capable to measure the ICO’s success that why it is a No for me.

It usually happens when something is distributed for free. But in such groups one garbage. A huge amount of stickers and spam. It seems to me that this is causing a negative for investors

In my own opinion, I think telegram is just one criteria to know how successful an project is going to be.
I agree with you. Telegram is one of the factor that affect or contributed to the success of the project. Of course, the more people involve and active in telegram account, more people knows about the projects. This increases the probability of its success. Sometimes I use the the number of telegrams users before getting into the project. It's a good sign anyway.  |

Russia seems to be keep alternating between bans with the communist hive mind that anything they dont have under their boot is an enemy and the other extreme of promoting crypto envolvement as business growth. Perhaps they only wish to support alternatives to the dollar and they view Telegram as politically far too freedom orientated and diverse from the Russian national government interests.
Its sad to see as Russia is a country which needs to transition more then any of the Eastern European former USSR bloc countries away from the old fixed military based economy over to a technology developed and capable dynamic economy. Banning things outright that have no relation to illegal activity is pointless backwards thinking and Im wary of any country prone to this unilateral thinking

Telegram is a reference standard, but most of the time I only care about the discussion of the ICO project in the telegram, if more people talking about the ICO project, means that there are more potential participants, and not a robot.

I think it affects, but indirectly. Because sometimes projects pay people for activity in the chat. Although usually it is noticeable. But we must look at everything in the complex. And this is still not a guarantee of success.

the latest statistics showing that telegram users already reach more than 200 millions users but apparently some of telegram users has fake because i have been heard too there is a people have hundred of telegrams accounts but telegram could be good alternative way to promote ICO and i have seen that for every ICO projects telegram campaign looks mandatory |

I think it is just another tool for traders and developers of the project to communicate and discuss about the project and it's announcement. It is just a way for them to spread the future endeavors and platforms of the ico because most numbers of traders these days chose to join telegram because they find it easier to communicate and get further information about the project. |

Telegram is more and more popular, but I don't see it as a measure for ICO success. Telegram is free and it is not showing real commitment. The number of investors is what it counts.

No, I've seen a lot of projects that have 20k or more members and it doesn't translate to the projects success. Lots of the members are bounty hunters and few only are investors. And some projects with only 1k to 5k members really had success because they have quality members who invest in the project. |
