Gone are the days when the world of gambling was limited only to gaming rooms and casinos, and this is clearly evident from the trends in the online field.
So in various social networks and mobile applications, we are offered applications in the style of gambling. Is it legal?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Unlike online casinos and bitcoin casinos where everything is anonymous. On social networks it is easy enough to determine that the account belongs to an underage child.

Is it, though? Unless you enforce a KYC policy (similar to that of a casino) you can't really know. And in that case, there's no real point to doing it. It would make gambling more accessible to underage consumers, which is not desirable.

We already have people hooked on different kinds gambling nowadays with some mobile games and loot boxes everywhere now.

Given how people can easily lie about their identity (taking pictures from the internet is as easy as writing an email) it seems a little unethical to allow gambling to be a part of such a medium. Imagine going on Twitter and having a little slot machine in the bottom-right.

If you play for play money it is surely legal! Cheesy Sorry, but I am not able understand how this social gambling is working? I mean you usually need a central party that has contracts with the gaming software providers and manage the deposits and withdrawals, or is this somehow based on blockchain technology?

You can't determine a social network account which belongs to an adult, teenager or an underage child. It isn't "easy" to know who are real ones and the fake ones. Creating accounts on social networks doesn't even need a verification in real life information, just a single click on email for verification.
