This is the opportunity for you to buy bitcoin and altcoin with the cheapest price in 2018, I am sure so. If you're holding a bitcoin or Ethereum, buy low-cost, high-value altcoins, which will be the fastest gaining coin, do not miss this best chance because you will hardly see it again it again.

But I think there is more room for another leg down. Especially for Ripple. And IMO we are witnessing a bit of siphoning of funds from Bitcoin to Ethereum and other Altcoins. Good luck everyone!

i was hoping that if there was a bubble, and there sure has been one, it would be based on stuff with more fundamentals than the 2013 bubble.
in fact this time around i think it's even emptier than the last one. ridiculous stuff like tron reaching tens of billions, or ripple topping 100 billion, should be enough of a signal to anyone.
it could all iron out after a typical january or there could be a long ass way to go down. it's time newbies got schooled in how harsh this stuff can be.

All the big whales and day traders are bleeding the markets and taking out all their profits, plus the FUD again in China and S.Korean markets is making everything go down again as usual. Unfortunately it always goes down so fast you always get caught out in the process and then lose all your profit and money. I think from now on every time I see one of my coins reach an all time high I will sell and not be emotionally attached to any project because this way I am always losing.

Those who already gained a lot might be cashing out their profits and shake the market, but for us who are inside this industry we are positive that the market will soon to rise back and we are seeing this as an opportunity for us to buy and hold more of those coins that we are supporting with we just needed to keep calm and patiently waiting for another big jumped, this bloody days will soon to be over it can be extend but if we really believes then just keep it on hold.

The crypto market are currently all in red. It seems that there is a bloodbath. How long do you think will it take and what do you think is the reason behind it? Is it just a massive price correction or is it the end for the crypto world? Just want to know your opinion about it.
We had a "bloodbath" already several times. Wait one or a few days and you will see most of cryptocurrencies bouncing back. Before you see the "end for the crypto world" study the history of cryptocurrencies and you will see, where they stood at beginning of last year. Bitcoin was on 800$, Litecoin was in 4$, Etherum on around 20$, Dash on 40$ and so on.

This is all part of the market cycle in cryptoverse. It is a roller coaster ride, and a wild one. The market is being shaken off of those who are weak-handed. For those who sold on their losses, you should learn from your mistake and take this as a lesson from the crypto universe. Cryptocurrency still has a long way to go and development to its full potential could take a lot of years, so, it's not yet the end for crypto.

Historically, when Bitcoin has a good sell off, alts go down with it. I always thought that was counter-intuitive since people sell alts to get the bitcoin that is going down, but I suppose it is because the alts are more fragile. They seem to go up faster than bitcoin and down faster with thinner markets, so people like to ride alts as bitcoin rises and return to bitcoin when it falls. Really, though, this is just another day in the crypto market ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I've seen a lot of reasons thrown around and guess it's a combination of them all. Firstly as you said a simple correction. Secondly uncertainty around south korea and China's positions in the market and how they're going to regulate crypto. Thirdly the lunar new year coming up and many selling off to fund expenses. Fourthly all US transactions reportedly coming under taxation in future. It's not the end though, the recovery will come in time, crypto has survived much worse than this.

Definitely south Korean and Chinese clamped down and banning of Cryptos is causing more dumping and also a FUB by mike Bell of Jp Morgan urging all government to ban Cryptos is also affecting the prices of Cryptos presently the price of bitcoin is down to a support at $11200.

For me this is just a normal big correction. Its normal on Crypto world and this is not yet the end of the cryptocurrencies. As long as there is a price on it, its still have a worth. Don't think that it's the end, too early to think about that.
This bloodbath on market is sign a good to buy on and prepare your the seat for a rocket to the new moon (ATH)

After all these years do have engagement on crpytocurrencies these kind of scenarios isnt already new to us.Bloodbath can happen anytime but knowing the actual reasons then it would be hard but we can assume that this is just simply a sell off for those people who did buy earlier.Profit taking for short which is normal on this trading world but eventually these kind of dumps wont really last long because sooner or later it will recover no matter what.

Well, it seems that lot of people believe that a currency can grow forever... of course not. Currencies - look at forex - go up and down. That's all
