Last Night in New York

About The World's First International Bitcoin Meet-up held here in NYC last night: I will have to formulate a way to express what happened in detail. Next time, you must all attend via Skype. We decided that we should probably split the Meet-up into 2 regular Meet-ups -- one for developers & one for new users and merchants (sort of a support group for them). :-) We had the most amazing brainstorming session ever! One new attendee is a top shelf developer, and start-up entrepreneur. We came up with some AMAZING ideas -- many building on previous ideas, which we laid out as projects. We prioritized them. And we even passed out assignments, and are beginning WORK on them TODAY. I'll have to write the whole thing out in a more clear format, but TRUST ME... It is EXCITING. It is MAJOR. :-)

Meet-ups Elsewhere in the World

Email me the date, time, and location.  That way I can add your Meet-up to the Meetup.com site.  You will get people coming because they found out about it on the Meetup.com site.  We did!   ...an amazing developer who will be a PROFOUND benefactor to the entire Bitcoin Community.  He'd never had time to check out the forum, although he discovered Bitcoin two weeks ago....   He was on Meetup.com and spotted the Bitcoin LOGO on a listing off to the side!

Email me your dates & cities -- even if you're planning a one time only meeting!   email@BitcoinMe.com

I'm glad to hear the the meeting went so well, and I'm disappointed that I didn't get to come.  I'm looking forward to hearing further details.

Wow, how many people are living in Zurich? Including myself I counted 5 so far. This has to be the single most active city in the Bitcoin universe Cheesy

We should definitely organize a Zürich BitCoin meetup in January or February some time. I'd come along. Maybe we can grab a table in Oliver Twist?

I can make it to BCN on March 13th or 14th. Later dates are more difficult.
