This is a good advice but it doesn't work always the way you want it, for me as long as the team has the capacity to develop a sound platform and have the track record of delivering on their promises I have no problem with this. The reason people are clamoring for this is because of the number of failed ICOs last year

It is true. Try to find an ICO that has an almost ready product. The advantage of it is, it could earn a high demand faster than the product that is under construction yet. It has a less risk also since the project's team is already committed some task that consumes their time. I've also experienced joining bounties of some ICOs that has a zero percent product ready and it takes so much time to wait for it to pump.

that's true, but it's better to follow ico using kyc to make our investment safer, it's not all like that. do not invest only from the products on offer but we must read in detail the info, roadmap, partner, team, smartcontrack the real and not a donation. to avoid fraud.

i don't quite understand what a Non-product ICO is? How to distinguish a project that falls under this definition?  After all, often everything that the project has is White Paper.

i agree sometime because we never knew if the promising ICO is a scam it is better to be sure so we can know what we will invest and not but the crypto world is a risk taking world so it is up to you

sometimes it is true to invest in crypto and ICO projects there may be two, could be rich and could suffer because the losses are deceived by false projects. and the case of scam projects is now also very much lately

ICO projects currently do not have official products or have products like online wallets for Altcoin of that project and do not bring many practical benefits. ICO projections are geared towards profitability and profitability that investors are always interested.

I do agree that as far as ICO's are concerned we need to make sure that the ICO has an actual product capable of being used or utilized by its customers or clients. Even beta prototypes as fas as I am concerned is a sign that things are going as planned and that the ICO is not a scam.

I was wondering, why a lot of projects don't have such an important thing for a successful ICO as a product.

When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.

For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.

On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.

In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.

Very good idea! Not everyone has got money on creating MVP, but these companies, which expect to raise some money (Hard Cap preferably), must achieve the results of their work since their start. MVP is a significant checkpoint for a success!

I think that's a good statement. a good and big ICO should have a clear direction. Including also proves its achievement in real. Not just a work plan or project plan. But if it is realized in the form of a product or something like that I think it will be more convincing. Society will also be easier to believe. rather than a project that only pledges this promise, but there is no real evidence.

You need to invest in product ICO then you can analyze the company's further successes and its effectiveness in the market. If the food company is successful its tokens will grow.

I believe that no on should invest if there is no product of ICOs. The reason is that there is higher risk of failure. Most likely this could be a scam. And you're investment will only be taken from you with no guarantee of return. Never trust an ICO that does not have any product or sense in their goals and objectives. Smiley

ICOs with a working product are the best to invest in because it gives investor an in-depth  knowledge about the project.

I partially agree with your opinion on this but there are some ICOs that do make false claim as regards their working product and its very important to be careful and not to fall for false product by many ICOs around.

agree with you, the finished product is an ideal condition for investment, but greater volatility and greater income can be obtained by investing in a promising idea that will later become a ready product! And Yes investment is always a risk!

It depends on how you analyze the project. If not, I advise you not to touch the ico.
