EXC has just been added to CoinMarketCap and is listed at ~$0.25 a coin! Woop!

Good luck moving them around though.  The difficulty adjustment needs to be fixed very badly, once again, no blocks have been solved in over 24 hours.  Very low network hashrate and a high difficulty.  If you can't even get one confirm in 24 hours the coin is basically dead in the water.

I'd love to hear something from CaptChadd about the difficulty adjustment fix and an ETA.

The link here is the best most upto date information.

I am working on releasing a client update over the next couple of days to fix the difficulty retarget.

This will make mining it more sensible. and stable.

CaptChadd: what about setting higher (default or required) fees in version 1.4? Mininig would be more attractive.

CaptChadd:

How about answering the allegations against you in the SAI scam where you stole BTC 150+ from members of the community?

Thank you for the update CaptChadd - Good communication with the community is key to instilling confidence in projects you put out  Smiley

Looking forward to getting EXC back on track...

Extremecoin needs to have better developer support.

YOU try to develop a service for a coin that takes days to even get a single confirm.   I tried developing some services for extremecoin, but with the extremely slow confirms due to stuck difficulty it is impossible.  Developers can't and won't support his coin until the difficulty gets fixed.  I told CaptChadd about the problem even before the PoW mining reward expired nearly 3 months ago and it still hasn't been addressed.

CaptChadd where is it?

+1

You are sitting on a potential gold mine and its slowly bleeding away due to (self imposed) missed deadlines and buggy slow software. Update the website, release the fixed client, keep regular contact with YOUR community and EXC might not fade into obscurity.

I'm getting really tired of developers making promises and time and time again not delivering.

Work commitments and death threats have been slowly development down and reducing the amount of time I can spend working on future development at the moment.

I have asked Artiface if he wants to get on board and be a developer, most coins do not or should not just have one developer else it turns into a borderline dictatorship.

To be totally honest with the lack of interest generally on here for EXC, BigVern not even considering adding it, I actually thought no-one really cared about the coin.

Now I know there is support out there, it is spuring me on to get the mining difficulty adjustment fixed and a updated client pushed out.

If only this could be more than a hobby and I could actually earn a living developing unusual Altcoins.

I am going to put some time aside this weekend to get the Windows client updated at least and the source code update, so the community can compile their own.

Excellent news  Smiley

If you can build a little momentum behind EXC (coupled with its rareity) I would easily expect the price to hit $1 and upwards after the client fix. People are looking to invest in the next coin that will make big gains, EXC has only just been added to Coinmarketcap (and as you say its not on Cryptsy) There are thousand of potential investors who have not heard of EXC before - waiting in the wings to grab a slice of a rare coin on the verge of shooting up.

Thank you for the support.

To keep the development as community driven as possible do we have a general idea of what the difficulty adjustment should be changed to?

Longer and slower difficulty increase?
