Do not sell while the market is down, sell when the market is nearing its peak (when the peak is flattening). If you sell now, you will actualize your loss, if you hold you may recoup your virtual losses.

Currently whole crypto market is down and I don't think this is a good time to sell bitcoins. Hold as long as you can till bitcoin price recovers or sell it and buy again if you think price will drop even more. You should use your bitcoin wisely so that you don't have to regret later about selling it cheap. Good luck

I have 5,2 btc, i had 4 and i made 1,2 btc in trading last 4 weeks. Is it a good time to sell now, or you guys think it can go higher?
My concern is chinese new year will make it even lower
what a great profit you made!! really awesome.but now bitcoin price dumping a lot.so dont sale all of your coin now.hold and sell when the price would be minimum $15000 |

Selling your coins is always your choice and you will always take risk in working cryptocurrency because we don't know if what will happen to the value of any token or coins in the future. You should check and weigh all the possibilities that might happen if you decide to sell or hold your coins.

For me if I am the keeper of that 5.2 btc I woupd just sell some of it. Maybe if you really need the monwy then you could sell some. As for me even bitcoin price drops and drops I know that time will come that it will have its strength. That it will rise up again so I will just keep it. |

Well it's a good time to sell just as it's a good time for someone to buy and save. So it's just a healthy time in the cycle. One thing is certain though. The price of BTC will pick up again.

Selling your coins right now is probably the worst decision you can make, unless you really need it right now. That's because Bitcoin proved multiple times in the past that it quickly recovers after a big drop. It might not be back in just one day, but expect some recovery quickly after the lowest point is reached.

If you sell it now it may be something that can make you only get a little profit. Try to divide the second portion, you can use half of it for sale and the rest you use for Hold. Believe the opportunity of Bitcoin price to increase is still very large and the opportunity is still wide open. |

If you like to be a day trader so you may buy and sell crypto coins, but if you like to invest for long time you should buy and forget it for a few years in my opinion. |

If you are really need money now, sell some of BTC, otherwise, just hold it and wait because the market will go up anytime haha

I'm not agreeing with that , yes there is a chance for a great price fall of Bitcoin. But not for long period, if you don't have a sudden need my advice is to hold it.

for now I think you have to do the hold do not get carried away with panic selling atmosphere, because it will only make the price even lower than now, it is now influenced by the issue made by the Chinese government against bitcoin, the storm must pass, it is just chinese strategy to buy lots of bitcoin.

Selling now could be the biggest mistake you can ever make in this market. You should never sell in loss. I have mentioned it earlier, this is just another buy opportunity. Thing will get better soon enough and most of us will regret for not buying more. I suggest you step back from the moniter and take a break for a few days. These are dangerous hours as it is time for panic sell and smart buy.

oh Man.. its rallying bad.. in short term I don't see any cue for a spike, look how much it has gone down in a single day, the worse is still to come. To avoid loss partake in a short sell may be a 2/3rd to mitigate loss and keep the rest for the hay day!

I would say that it's the best time to buy rather than selling. I do feel that btc will go back to around 17k after this drop to 11k but there's also a possibility that it might hit 3k again if gets under 10k. Just my personal thinking. |

I know guys that btc will rise for sure, as for example rootstock is in the beta testing phase right now. And will be soon on the btc mainnet so we can expect btc to rise again, china fud/bans etc. is very common tactic and i have heard about it alot back in early 2017. Russia is planning on making their own coin and usually Russia works with China. Which means China is spreading this fud again to buy in low and sell high in the future.

In my opinion btc will rise for sure . Many of time its happened to btc but it never down be patience for atleast month i am sure btc will $20,000 again

I don't understand why you are risking your bitcoin with the decision taken by the Chinese government. And the decision has not been approved by the Chinese government now. Exactly, cryptocurrency will exist without China, I'm sure for that. So, you should have to hodl your coin, and if you don't have money fiat you can exchange some your bitcoin. Wait by next month the price will be increase again. |
