Seems the wallet doesn't work for me, I have no idea what app inside the compile file is working, do you have a simplified wallet like qt wallet.. Thanks

Hi folks,

if someone has issue compiling or rrunning LitecoinZ, please check if this document could help https://github.com/litecoinz-project/litecoinz/blob/master/README.md

If this does not help, please open an issue on https://github.com/litecoinz-project/litecoinz so we could check together what is wrong.

I've successfully compiled on both Linux and Windows and they works without any issue.

I remember to everyone that for a great success of this project we need more nodes and more seeds Wink

Thanks

Thanks for your reply, but i have a hard time to compile, can you please provide us a simple qt wallet for windows, especially for the users who have no idea on compiling wallet.. Thanks

The precompiled Windows binaries includes a Java GUI QT inside the zip file.
All you need to do befire starting is to manually dowloand the parameters file and manually create the litecoinz.conf as described here https://github.com/litecoinz-project/litecoinz/blob/master/README.md

A full and native QT GUI (litecoinz-qt) is still under development.

I see, since that most of us here are traders and miners we have no idea in proper compiling, we are waiting for someone who are willing to share the user friendly wallet.. Again Thanks

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hi folks,

Please run a full LitecoinZ node and post your IP address here: https://github.com/litecoinz-project/litecoinz/issues/1

Please run the LitecoinZ seed and post your IP address here: https://github.com/litecoinz-project/litecoinz/issues/3

LitecoinZ is a new coin and started public mining today, so we need a lots of nodes and seeds to be fully decentralized.

Thanks,
The LitecoinZ developers

Im new and would like to help but im new and know the basics, maybe a team member can help me out. let me know. They would have to guide me through the hard parts

Good idea. But it even better if block time is 2.5 seconds, not 2.5 minutes

Ok, so does anyone know why this started at Block 5000, what happened to the 250,000 LTCZ in blocks 1-5000?

I thought this was supposed to be no pre-mine, and if it is pre-mined, who has the funds, and what are they planning to do with them?

First, "./zcutil/fetch-params.sh" doesn't work for me due to (and apparently), "flock: command not found"

Anyways, that's besides the point .. not everyone knows how to use this wallet and only releasing the source, doesn't help the majority. The result here is that only a select few miners (with the knowledge to compile etc), benefits from early mining. That, to me, is an unfair start and NOT community friendly at all! Why couldn't you guys just wait to have the qt windows wallet and then release, giving everyone a fair start at this?

In addition, PLEASE tell me about the 5000 blocks that are unaccounted for ??

I don't think any coin's code could cope with such a fast block time. The blockchain would grow to an unmanageable size very quickly.

Just a friendly reminder that dev still not respond to the fact that 5000+ blocks mined before launch.
