I think no. The market value of Bitcoin always goes down during January. Then after that, it goes up high enough. Always go back to the history price of Bitcoin. It will help you a lot.

Seriously? I do not think so that Bitcoin price value will go down into that price of $1,800 which is literally too far to happen because at our currenct time, Bitcoin was playing in price from $11,000 and up. If you will just see and observe, that thing was really impossible to make happen because Bitcoin has many supporters right now and the Bitcoin community is now getting larger than before so I think it will not happen to make a downfall up to $1,800 because the demands will soon to rise up again in no time.

Seems OP is trolling us here. So much money already being put on bitcoin and I dont think it will reach that low. As always there are people willing to buy, because its an opportunity.

I'm sure that bitcoin prices will never under $ 7500 in this year, maybe the price will be around $ 20k- $ 50k, so I do not believe if the bitcoin price will drop up to $ 1800.

That is impossible.  I think bitcoin price will go down but not to the very lowest price  like $1,800 at the end of this year.  2018  recently started and it is a very long run when we talk about it for now.  Anything can happen but I think not that bad.

The crypto market has returned after bad news about it. This proves that Bitcoin will continue to grow, and will continue to increase. Bitcoin prices will never drop $ 1,800.

Its not accurate and I don't believe that the price of bitcoin will go down at around 1800$. As we can see in the graphs of bitcoin in the past years, the price of bitcoin always goes down in the first months of the year but in the succeeding years it will rise again. Anyway anything is pure speculation and nobody really knows what will happen next

There must be thousands of articles like this. Bitcoin will keep going up. Bitcoin is still young. The writer wants people to sell their bitcoin so he can buy them ^^

With the way everyone is interested in owning a bitcoin now I doubt it will sink that deep as predicted by the consultancy. Predictions aren't always right.

I suggest everybody, who gets all worked out over such predictions one good book: The Black Swan by Nassim Taleb. It is very educational and it will put predictions such as 1800 by 2018 or 100k by xxxx to the right corner. Bitcoin is the example of the Black Swan and it cannot be predicted.

That will never happen. For me bitcoin by the end of this year will be 25,000 dollars at least. This price is at least but it would more than this I guess because no matter what the issue for bitcoin nobody can stop its moves.

$600,000,000,000 looks like dead end for cryptocurrencies

Here take my vote : No.

I don't think bitcoin is that bad development which will make it look like couple of thousand worth inevstment. As the years will pass I'm sure that we will see some brighter buy walls which are going to be higher than the current one. It is solid currency which is not liable to fall as much low as you are thinking here. What do we see here is just the old bans, corrections and same thing over and over again of which we should be used to now. It will be over 20k this year, mark that down.

That will be $1800 x 1000 = $1,800,000  Grin You have $1.8 million to throw away ??

I need $20,000 for my website which far better than gambling on stock markets, Bitcoin etc..

Surely diversifying your portfolio is a better option it is true that gold and other commodities are relatively save investments. Bitcoin will continue to grow over the years even after people panic.

A Wall Street consultancy's crypto report - and it should strike fear into the heart of every bitcoin bull/user

Quinlan & Associates put out a report Thursday titled "Fool's Gold: Unearthing The World of Cryptocurrency" in which they outline a case for bitcoin dropping to $1,800 by December 2018.

Here's the report:

"As an asset, we valued Bitcoin using a cost of production approach and a store of value approach, resulting in values of USD 2,161 and USD 687 respectively. To value BTC as a currency, we estimated its utilization for both legal, retail transactions payments, as well as payments in the black market. After significant testing, we calculated the price of BTC 1 to be USD 1,780."

At its current valuation, the consultancy concludes bitcoin is a bubble "waiting to burst." If bitcoin is not adopted as payment method, the firm predicts a major bitcoin correction to $1,800 that'll also drag the cryptocurrency market down 70% to $223 billion later this year from its current position above $700 billion.

I don't think so, not only because the goverments ban Bitcoin will lead Bitcoin into a crisis . Bitcoin already been through all those, so it's maybe a game of Pump and Dump.

There is no basis for this prediction. In my opinion, it will be at least $30000 by the end of this year.
and where will $800,000,000,000 come from for 1 bitcoin = $30,000 ?? There is no basis for your prediction
