SO I was wondering, is 110 dollar/BTC expensive in the states? What is the average rate on 1 bitcoin in USA?

Depends on who you ask.

Many people are unaware of the disparity between MtGox and the other exchanges, so with just a bit of effort it isn't very difficult to find people willing to pay MtGox based rates (between $115 and $125 at the moment).  Some people are more aware of market conditions, and will only pay BitStamp, BTC-E, or CampBX based prices (between $97 and $107 at the moment).

Okay... I agree for bitcoin to work it has to be a network of trusted P2P buyers and sellers. It sounds like you know what is going on with paypal.

Learned the hard way by nearly getting scammed by Junteenth a couple months ago. Paypal luckily froze my $500 payment to him from onset.

He did go on to scam others unfortunately on this forum. The amount of $$ I deal with is small and not enough for me change my morals/principals. Just the way I am.
