Like alot of people, I bought into blockchain technology/alt coin/crypto coin around December in the hopes that I would buy into the next bitcoin and then become a billionaire within a month. As I researched, developed my knowledge into blockchain technology, the more I began to appreciate and understand why such a technology was developed.
I work in IT for a while and I still love IT. I don't and can't think of any other trade that I want to spend my working career in. So technology such as blockchain excites me. Not only on a mathematical/software side, but also the fact that it removes power and grip of ordinary working people from those that have had it for thousands of years: Governments and banks.
During my month or so time dealing and researching into crypto, I have gone through, like everyone that same emotional ride that you get from a coin returning 1000% of your earnings, to another dropping 500%. I have learned that the crypto market is exciting, new and still in it's early stages. If banks and Governments embraced it by what it is: a technology and not a coin. Developed and worked with blockchain rather than try to control it, then it will be a better place all round for the world. I don't see one bitcoin as £8k. I see it as one bitcoin that I could buy a pizza with. Or trade it for a car, whatever. To me the coin has no real fiat value, because even though they can provide the same function, they are completely different ideals, rules and laws.
If this is the end (though I hgonestly don't think that cryptocoins and alt coins will die of a slow death) then so be it. I feel that I am a more worldy person because of the knowledge and expereince I have gained during my tenure with traiding in alt and crypto coins.
So my question is as follows: Why did you start investing into blockchain technology?
